Yay! Another Kirby theme to claim in Tetris 99! That City Trial main theme has quickly become one of my all time favorite Nintendo songs.

@rvcolem1 : Especially considering that an online subscription was required to play the damn thing!

Still wild to me there's only been 50 of these after all these years. There's so many First-Party Nintendo games and Switch-exclusives that could've gotten one and just never did.

This is great news. There will never be enough themes in Tetris 99. Too many Kirby themes though ... ? 😅 My favourite theme of all is a Kirby one coincidentally, so definitely looking to this one too.

I find it much easier during cups. Still don’t really get none mini t-spins however. (I have only played it relatively recently. I hope there is another chance for the DKCR theme soon).

Fair play to Nintendo for still adding themes to Tetris 99 after nearly 7 years. I played it a tonne during Covid and still come back to it every few months to get the latest theme from these Maximus Cups.

I hope they support F-Zero 99 for this long (and give us a physical version like they did with Tetris 99).

Simple: Mario 35 was explicitly a 35th anniversary celebration event. Tetris 99 isn't any such thing, its simply multiplayer Tetris.
