It's really interesting that Duraludon gets an evolution considering it already has a base stat total of 535

Before this one, I’ve purchased the past 4 Pokémon games.. I’ve somehow slept on this one.. did it have bad reviews or something

@mariomaster96 Might be like Scyther where it just rearranges the stats instead of actually raising them. That said the Eviolite will likely be a big buff for it, make its Defense even higher and its Special Defense not quite as abysmal.

I still prefer my boy Sawk return to Paldea region.

So far, every time they've shown a prehistoric version of a Pokémon, it makes me glad that I picked Violet, and Tallneck Raikou serves as a continuation of that trend for me...

The whole Applin line was one of my favorites of Gen 8. Dipplin fits right in 😁

I’m guessing the paradox pokemon are Dragon Electric, and Steel Psycic? Just going off what the last two were.

Which would mean Entei could be dragon fire, and Terrakion could be ground psycic.

And I’m assuming Entei will be a pterodactyl.

Dipplin is precious and I love it. Best thing about the presentation.

Looking at that screenshot of Dipplin, man, and it’s still too difficult to see past the low res textures on the grass and uninspired artistic choices for the environment.
I played Violet upon release, but playing TotK and Pikmin 4 recently have reminded how amateur Game Freak developed games are.

I wish TPC would make more cooler looking Pokemon.

Everybody thought it used to be a Jolteon, but no, turns out Raikou is a Girafarig.

Am I the only one that thinks the prehistoric Pokèmon are so much better designed? The futuristic versions are very unimaginative, because they are just a robot version of the original.

Raikou looks horrible, like why did they have to ruin it and Suicune too? They are big dog/cat types and now they are dinosaurs? I'll pass

I like Raging Bolts official artwork but the in game model is not it. Also missed opportunity for Dipplin to be Dragon/Fairy since Fairy types tend to have a sweets motif.

@Fizza The fun part about Archaludon is the fact that the trainer who has it is from Unova, which is the one pokemon region with a ton of Bridges.

Dipplin doesn't look much special, it's just a play on the human horse trope with two Applin. It better evolve into a two-headed candy Dragon or something to make it truly stand out.
Archaludon, on the other hand, looks like a more intimidating turn on Duraludon's concept, I like it since I generally love stronger third-stage evolutions.

Besides more region-appropiate legendaries and potential Paradox ideas, other new Pokémon I want to exist before the generation ends are the ones that would make the 9th gen PokéDex feel more complete. Where's the Iberian emperor eagle?

Raikou looks weird

I love all things Applin/Dipplin. I initially thought that it was a convergent form seeing as Applin was already in the game (and it looked a little too small to be an evolved form).
