Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope launches October 20th exclusively on the Switch, and at the latest Ubisoft Forward event, fans of Mario and the Rabbids got a look the new "Wiggler Boss Battle Gameplay".
Apart from the battle itself, it showed a new planet, some additional gameplay such as puzzles to solve, places to visit, and even a train to catch. It's at this point an angry Wiggler starts chasing the team - igniting a high-speed battle.
Following this teaser, game director Davide Soliani revealed Ubisoft's famous mascot Rayman would be joining the team in a new DLC adventure. You can learn more about this in the following story:

Davide Soliani doing Nintendo games is magic. I have complete confidence he's pulled it off again with everything I've seen. Hoping Miyamoto praises him again and he sheds more of those wholesome tears of joy.
Well, it was okay.
I still have some interest with the game but will not pick on day one.
I still have my hype with PS4 / PS3 games.
I'm really excited for this game as I loved the first but I probably won't buy this on day one. Ubisoft games just go on sale WAY too soon after launch. That plus the DLC means we'll be better off waiting for a bundle sale in December or January
Everything Mario + Rabbids was one of the best things from Ubisoft Forward. The graphics, the mechanics, the characters... it's already looking bigger and better than the previous entry. And Rayman is coming as a playable character? whoooo!
But the rest of the event? It was surely packed and I don't know if at least Trackmania is coming to Switch. But seriously, announcing three AAA mobile games (one of them being an open world AC) was probably the biggest insult they could give the Switch. Are mobile games really becoming that capable?
Trailer makes me smile. This will be a fantastic game. If you haven’t played kingdom battle yet. Please do
This looks so good. I feel like people are sleeping hard on this because it's Ubisoft, though. People would be losing their minds if Nintendo had developed a Mario RPG with this level of visual fidelity.
This gives me many Sparks of Hope!
... Wun can only hope.
This game will be fantastic!
This looks sooo good. I know it's a Ubisoft game and their games drop in price fast, but this is an easy day 1. Ubisoft really nailed that Nintendo charm with this one.
I couldn't get into the first game, so I'm probably going to avoid this one. It looks cool, but the gameplay just isn't my thing, and I'm not a big fan of Grant's musical style.
Easily the best game of the show, this looks miles more polished than the original and it's gorgeous. Between this Bayo 3, Nier and Pokémon the end of the year is stacked
Looks great...... woo
Maybe Nintendo should finance more games with Ubisoft or invest in their stock or buy this team.
This really looks like they put a lot of love into it. And it certainly looks like a 1st party Nintendo game. From the trailer though it looks like it‘s not my type of gameplay.
@Anti-Matter OH, I am so hyped about this game. Even over PS3, 4 and 5 games. Most of which weren't that good.
I stopped watching after 2 minutes....too many spoilers!!! I can't wait to play this game! As @1UP_MARIO @tabris95 said, the first game is excellent, probably in my switch top 10.
I haven't watched the video myself (namely so that I can be surprised with how the fight actually plays out), but I hope this means we'll get more regular Mario enemies as bosses and such. We've had Bob-ombs, we've had Wigglers and it'd be cool to see some other ones get some spotlight. I'd personally love a Rabbid Shy Guy boss that's a reference to General Guy's fight in Paper Mario, that'd be so cool.
I love how Rabbid Rosalina looks so bored the entire time. So emo.
The original game is still the best deal in gaming especially since it keeps going on sale for the Gold edition for $10
@Koda1000 Honestly, I would LOVE to see a Paper mario made by these guys.
