Pikmin 3 Deluxe is part of a different sale that ends on September 25th. I think it coincided with Pikmin 4 being announced in the Direct.
I recently just bought Crystal Chronicles for $6 on the eShop thanks to all them gold coins I had left over. Probably won't bother with a physical release this time as I still own the GameCube copy which had a much better multiplayer option.
Hades is a must
Some pretty good stuff here. Would definitely recommend SF 30th Anniversary Collection myself, one of my favourite collections ever to be honest (though I'd moreso recommend getting it with Capcom Fighting Collection in that bundle they released not too long ago).
I have 3 quid burning a hole in my UK eShop wallet.
What should I get?
Why the heck not:
I'm feeling nostalgic and getting the "worms" game. Hope the flying sheep and holy handgranade, and the adorable little voices are still there!
Favourite moment is still:
"Oh Sh$#!!" BOOM
@Magician
Super Magbot maybe? It's 90% off for £1.49.
https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/Super-Magbot-1977547.html
It has a demo, just in case you're that attached to your £3.
It's a Team 17 published game so I kinda suspect it's a candidate for a Super Rare Games release.
@Magician Super Magbot, for starters.
@RupeeClock Lol, jinx.
I bought it a week or so ago. Great game for the money.
I'm a bit confused, but as a Wii U and 3DS owner can I still load up my Nintendo account with an eShop card on the Nintendo eShop web site (just like I did before and do now with a credit card) and spend the funds on Wii U and 3DS games because I assume I can.
I have bunch of gold coins that I'm unable to spend on Wii U or 3DS games, it's like Nintendo want me to buy a Switch!!!
All I want is for South Park: The Stick of Truth to get a better sale price. It's never gone below about £11, which I just won't accept as I bought the PS3 version years ago for £5.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe I haven't played so I'm definitely going to get that. I loved the original 2 games on the Wii and this one looks even better.
Edit: correction I meant to say the Gamecube. Pikmin started on the Gamecube I was thinking of the New Play Control versions of the games which came out on the Wii.
I think it’s in a different sale, but Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is currently reduced from £24.99 to a pretty spectacular £4.99.
I wish we could have a HDD on dock for docked mode only and microsd for portable mode with moving whatever game you want to microsd. I already have 7 microsd (total space around 1.5 TB) and I never play the game I want because of the long procedure to change cards. At least it should have an unmount option...
Great deals, I might need another card...
Is today the day when I finally buy Hand of Fate 2? I've been thinking about it every time it goes on sale, but it's apparently gone 'lowest price ever' today.
@gcunit I love HoF 2. If you want DnD-esq atmosphere, with roguelite rpg mechanics, and Assassin's Creed / Batman Arkham combat...I can't recommend it enough.
Sadly nothing on sale yet that I want. I really am waiting on 3 things to go on sale.
You should definitely get Juiced!, great platformer, only a few bucks, super underrated
Slightly suspicious that for almost a year not one of my Wishlist games has been discounted. I think they’re on to me….
@Magician
@SilentHunter382
I too have been waiting on Famicom Detective Club!
Pascal's wager and Shin Megami tensai III on discount. Nice.
Pascal's Wager needs to be reviewed here. God damn it.
I should check in. Been hoping Bayonetta 2 drops in price before Bayonetta 3 arrives to refresh my memory, as my Wii U has been elsewhere for 5 years!
Europe only? Deku just dropped a 147 item notification into my mailbox as well, not sure if it's a similar official sale or just a generous Thursday. Granted, I've already made tangible Switch investments this week, but I'm still rubbing my chin about the separate PS+ savings (this current three month price is still significantly bigger than what I paid for a friggen year of NSO+EP back in July) and the month's tempting lineup shouldn't expire until October 4, so if anything extra juicy from my wishlist presents itself here... we'll see.
@Magician
Steam World Heist is great and £2.99
Is it fate?
@strollin_stu Good to hear. I loved the first and second game on Gamecube which I later went on to buy again on Wii for new Control method so I'm looking forward to this.
@AJWolfTill Good call, but I already own a copy of SW Heist.
Hades is a hell of a game (Pun intended). I’ve played a bit on xbox game pass. Anyone played it on Switch who can tell me if it’s any good on switch or if the visuals and fluidness is choppy? I want to buy the game, but may wait for a sale on xbox instead.
I'll concentrate on the wishlist discounted ones.
@Ladasta Hades thankfully runs great on Switch. I'm pretty picky when it comes to stable framerates in these types of games and I never had any issues with Hades. Ofc there might be an occasional dip but it's overall a stable 60fps.
Why are we still showing European prices in £ when most of Europe has upgraded to €?
I always look forward to Thursdays for the eShop! 😊 I will be checking Deku Deals for better browsing.
@Magician Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light are currently £2.24 and £4.49, respectively. I'm tempted to grab them myself.
@RainbowGazelle I have both now for under £5 (got Last Light ages ago dirt cheap). Looking forward to spending a good day or so playing them both when I can spare the time. Absolute bargains!
Panzer Dragoon is only a couple of quid as well - I'd be a fool not to pick that up for a lil nostalgic kick... Loved it on the Saturn.
@Red_Silurian
It’s a U.K. website
@Serpenterror Recently a friend and I got our GBAs out to play Crystal Chronicles on Gamecube.
It didn't really grab us and we kept wondering if the "modern" version would be better.
Would you say it's not really worth getting the HD one if we didn't enjoy the Gamecube one? I thought it might have quality of life features that would help cause we do love the FF games.
Maybe give us a sale of physical games too?
Do Sniper Elite 4, Hellblade, and Firewatch ever go on sale in any region? I am on a fixed budget and can't afford the full price.
Didn't find anything I like in terms of jRPG, or rpg, I have to wait for new sales again, last time I bought ni no kuni wrath of the white witch for 7 euro that was really a bargain for this awesome game even tho the fights were weird. I need Mario odyssey and ***** too
@Magician a fireproof wallet.
Picking up both Inside and Limbo from this myself using Gold Points, just in time for the spooky month no less. Oddly enough, the sales listing for both state that they're ending on the 9th rather than the 2nd. Guess that gives me a bit more time for them (though I'll probably get both tomorrow just to be on the safe side).
Last year in december the fbi was banging on my door at 4 am and took my phone away from me and put me in the mental hospital for 2 weeks, lately I’ve been too depressed to play my nintendo switch games but I have a huge backlog that I need to try to get through, I was playing xenoblade 3 but I have the first one and haven’t finished it either
@RubyCarbuncle here I am again replying on your comment, LOL.
I watched my wife playing on pikmin 3 deluxe, GREAT! and we played hours of the multplayer bingo mode... so much fun!!! I strongly reccomend buddy!!
I wish I could find a used copy of Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 at gamestop anywhere. Or even new.
I’m considering The messanger. I love a good metroidvania but I’ve heard it’s pretty linear a long while until it opens up!?
Downloaded the new Ghosts and Goblins game while it's on sale. My god it's brutally difficult
@Ladasta I haven’t played any other version but it runs and looks great on my OLED Switch. Haven’t noticed any frame rate drops even when there’s lot of action onscreen at once.
I got £12.57 in gold points. Any recommendations?
Messenger and Cross Code have my interest, as do a few others.
