Another Pokémon distribution event has been announced for Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on the Nintendo Switch.
Up for grabs this time is a special Piplup based on the one used by Dawn in the anime series. It will be available to trainers located in South Korea and can be unlocked to anyone who spends over 35,000 Won at the Pokémon Store Online, or 60,000 Won for two codes.
Here's the moveset of Piplup in each game, along with a look (thanks, Serebii.net):
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will have the Everstone and the moves Hydro Pump, Bubblebeam, Whirlpool and Peck
Pokémon Legends: Arceus will have the moves Liquidation, Bubble, Water Pulse and Aerial Ace
This event is expected to begin on 1st June and will run through until 31st July 2022. There's no word right now if a similar event will be made available in the west. A Piplup distribution previously took place in Japan earlier this year in February.

Does this mean dragon type attacks never miss against it?
It's not even a Shiny so pretty much another pointless distribution event then and still no mention of Home Support either for these games.
So it's a store code for a pokémon no one really cares much and it's exclusive to south korea? Wow, okay..
@RubyCarbuncle Man I've been waiting on Home support, too. I have three and a half boxes of shinies ready to go in Arceus and want to grind some of them up on the BDSP postgame gym leader rematches.
I picked up the Hisuian Growlithe code from EB (Australia) yesterday. It also came with a code for Feather Balls. How absolutely pointless on both counts. To think that they printed and produced all of these codes for what can easily be obtained in the game through normal gameplay. It would have made at least a little sense if they were available at launch or thrown in as an early purchase bonus, but they’re virtually useless for everybody else.
@TheBigK : Oof. Sounds like a plan!
I would have loved to have all-shiny play-throughs of BD/SP if only TPCi could be buggered updating Home (imagine paying for a joke of a “service” that nearly SIX MONTHS after the fact, STILL doesn’t support the latest games!).
@TheBigK I know it's crazy isn't it? they said it would be coming after Legends Arceus, it's now May and still not even a mention of it. It's really starting to grate on my nerves now tbh.
I have boxes of Shinies too in my Sword game that I recently depositied into the Cloud and I'm just literally waiting to send them into Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to use in post game as well.
Man Diamond/Pearl remakes were such missed opportunity. It's so apparent they weren't a celebration of 4th Gen, but a mandatory yearly release slot.
What a shame. Diamond was the first game I ever bought with my own money.
@RubyCarbuncle
I think they’ve figured out if we can save our mons in the games and not in Home we’ll stop paying for the service.
@Silly_G Only reason I picked up the Hisuian Growlithe code was because it's supposed to have it's Hidden Ability in the next game. It's HA isn't good, but for completion reasons at least...
Definitely sounds like a fun event... Oh to have Dawn's piplup. I've been having that dream since I was six!
@RubyCarbuncle That's pretty negative for someone who complains about the slightest critique of SwSh...
@shoeses I barely comment on Pokèmon Articles because of the constant complaining and I have no idea why you felt the need to have a dig at me here but whatever.
Just for the record I have no issue with people criticising something but when they keep going on about it that's when it becomes a bit much and honestly I find it pretty hypocritical when these same people are probably the same ones hating on Anti Matter.
About the home support, I wonder if they are waiting until Scarlet and Violet are released. To also support those from release.
