Japanese fans will soon be treated to a new Pokémon distribution following the upcoming launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus on Nintendo Switch.
The special Pokémon in question is Piplup, with owners of both the new Legends: Arceus game and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl being offered the chance to claim one. As reported by Serebii, the distribution is part of a new Pocha Marche collaboration that will run from the 5th - 24th February at Pokémon Center Osaka, Mega Tokyo and Kanazawa in Japan.
There's no word yet on whether any similar distribution is arriving in the west at a later stage, so we'll keep an eye out for more on that in the following weeks. While we wait, here's a look at the different Piplup being offered:
- Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Piplup Distribution: Moves - Hydro Pump, Pluck, Work Up and Attract
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Piplup Distribution: Moves - Bubble, Baby-Doll Eyes, Roost and Double-Edge

On my legends playthrough I only found piplup some hours in the game (like near the 8th or 9th mission I believe) so it may be fun start with a proper sinnoh started.
You forgot to mention that in order to get the DLC code you have to physically go into a Pokemon Center, find a staff member, and say to them "Pochama daisuki!" (I love Piplup). I am in Japan, my wife likes Pocha a lot, and is very embarrassed to have to do this.
I want Piplup! It's my favorite pokemon... even if it's final evolution looks doofy.
Roost, Double-Edge and Baby Doll Eyes sound pretty exclusive for Piplup's normal moveset. I'm hoping you can still transfer Legends Pokemon to Pokemon Home!
@Hck would you be interested in trading codes for the US Growlith release?
@HarvieQuinn you mean for the Japanese Pochama?
