In today's OG Unwrapped presentation publisher Outright Games revealed its upcoming line-up of family-friendly titles, including Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova, Paw Patrol Grand Prix and Dragons: Legends of the Nine Realms among others. The presentation finished with a short teaser for another game scheduled for 2023, and it's a DC Justice League game.
Developed by PHL Collective, this multiplatform title is described in the official blurb as a 1-2 player action-adventure title, but beyond that little is known. The teaser featured cute-looking, Funko Pop-esque (although they are original designs) versions of stalwart DC characters like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, but no gameplay was shown and the publisher was tight-lipped on further details.
We do know that you'll be fighting villains from the DC universe (also the Earth is round and the sky is blue) and that it won't feature microtransactions. Here's an FAQ that the publisher put out:

Nope.
"A big action adventure with some of the most iconic Super Heroes"
Lies. I didn't see Wario Man in that trailer at all.

The designs are a bit ***** and why don't they ever include Martian Manhunter nowadays? He is integral to JL!
Can’t they just make a normal looking justice league game. It would have so much potential.
Looks like gross shovelware that plagued the Wii.
That’s a hard pass for me
When I said "I want a Justice League game" this isn't what I meant......
Magic portal, chibi heroes, and a youthful, diabolical laugh… Could Klarion, god of chaos, be the villain?
@blindsquarel have you seen the Avengers game, DC is probably scared of team up games being a failure (Gotham Nights looks good though)
That animation is painfully weightless and lifeless.
Uhhhh.... Oke.... Nope...
@LUIGITORNADO shovelware is everywhere in gaming… sometimes it passes for “AAA gaming experiences” too, such as Call of Duty, Madden and other annual or bi-annual titles.
However, this game is a hard no for me too.
@Kermit1 Gotham Knights is screaming like it is “The Avengers” for DC. I’m wondering where the micro-transactions are hiding in it. So much so, I’m just waiting for Suicide Squad in 2023, not going to waste my Series X on Gotham Knights. Yuck.
I liked their little showcase. It was well put together. I wish all publishers would do stuff like this.
I mean, as a guy with a young kid who loves DC, I think this could be pretty rad.
Just...no. remaster the OG xbox one even. Not. This.
@hadrian Because Jim Lee decided that, with the New 52 revamp, to replace J'onn with Cyborg as a founding member of the JL...and even though everyone hated the New 52 because was abysmal (for good reason, it sucked), Lee still runs DC and insists on using that lineup in all multimedia projects.
@progx It looks better than this tbh
Why am I not enthused about this?
@Kermit1 I didn't say this one looked better, but Gotham Knights is about as hollow as this game.
@progx 100%
