Kirby And Waddle Dee On Sofa

If you're looking for a companion (or five) to play the upcoming Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the cool, dark evenings, then we've got just the thing for you.

Japanese toy company Takara Tomy has released a brand new line of Kirby toys that — wait for it — glow in the dark! How does Kirby even manage that? Did he swallow a firefly or a light bulb? Or worse. We don't even want to think about how the Waddle Dee can do the same thing.

You can either get a large plush version of the Kirby or Waddle Dee or a small one that you can hang off your bag. Just take a look at the little guys and gals and tell us you can't resist them:

The larger toys will set you back just under £24 / $32, while the keychain is priced at just under £11 /over $14. If they're not doing it for you, lots of other Kirby plushies also dropped recently.

Takara Tomy sell a whole range of pink puffball merch and soft toys. We're not sure why every single household doesn't have a Meta Knight plush car yet.

There's not much longer to wait until Kirby and the Forgotten Land sucks you in — it launches on 25th March. In our early hands-on impressions, we said that this newest entry feels "like a bit of a much-needed rejuvenation for the Kirby franchise".
