There's not much longer to go now until the launch of Pokémon Legends: Arceus on the Switch. Although we're nearly there, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are still blasting us with daily videos.
Today's clip is a 'final preview' of the game, courtesy of Japan's Pokémon YouTube channel. It recaps some of what we've seen before, a little bit more, and even a few surprises. In the trailer, you can see battles, modes of transport, and the many characters and locations you'll encounter across your journey.
The only catch is, it's all in Japanese - but there's enough action to give you an idea about what's going on. Enjoy!
This latest trailer follows on from yesterday's western clip - which teased the Hisuian Starter Evolutions of Cyndaquil, Oshawott, and Rowlet. You can see more in our previous post. Pokémon Legends: Arceus will launch exclusively on Switch on 28th January.

I am pretty excited by now! Only a casual fan of Pokemon but this fresh take looks great! I think I'll get to purchasing this eventually!
Still waiting for the proper reviews. That will determine whether it's a purchase at full price, on sale, or at all. Avoiding the spoilers just in case.
Hurry up, Friday.
@Pokester99 Tons of user reviews from people who got leaked copies say the game's pretty good. Feel like outlets will say the same or similar.
@Pokester99
As if user reviews aren't also biased?
@westman98 Most forms of reviews are generally. It's why I never read reviews, and I just buy a game to try it out. Kirby Star Allies was a highly rated game from both the User and the Reviewer front, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing games I bought this generation. Other's opinions mean very little in my enjoyment of something.
It's generally why I skip through the reviews, and just look at the pros and cons for the games, only taking note of things that genuinely mess with the experience technically.
look at it, the textures look waaay better then the other gameplay videos, it looks nice and smooth.
@Snatcher I heard from a friend not to watch the video because it spoils things, so I’ll take your word on the textures!
@Pokester99,
Or could be review bombing as well, sure there will be genuine experiences on there, but lots of toxic fans as well.
Which is why I look the the overall average on the game sites reviews.
@VoidofLight Kirby Star Allies has a 73 metascore, that is not high. It's one of the lowest rated mainline Kirby games.
@BTB20 that’s a pretty high score for a game though.
@VoidofLight No it's not. It's in the yellow area, which means good. A high score would mean actually great. No reasonable critic gives a good looking, polished, fully functioning game like Kirby Star Allies a 3 or 4/10. It's to easy and boring, so it got a below 75 metascore. If you think 73 is high then almost all games get very high scores.
@BTB20 Eh, tons of actual game critics gave it a pretty high rating back when it released, and tons of people I've seen still praise the game to the heavens. I don't usually use metacritic, since most times it's not accurate due to review bombing.
Wish there was more EN translated so I can read it....
