Among Us emerged as a smash hit in 2020 and has continued that momentum this year, with frequent updates and releases on more platforms - including Switch in late 2020, of course. Considering its humble origins it's had a rapid expansion of merchandise, too, and the first of the collector's physical editions is also rolling out soon.
Among Us: Crewmate Edition has always been pegged for 14th December in Europe, but was expected in North America in January. The good news is that developer Innersloth, along with its partners at Maximum Games and Dual Wield Studio, has been able to bring the North American release forward to 21st December, so pre-orders should arrive in time for Christmas.
As a reminder this edition costs $29.99 / £27.99 / €32.99 and comes with the following goodies.
- Among Us base game and all DLC items: Airship, Polus and MIRA HQ Skins, along with the Hamster Pet, Bedcrab Pet, Brainslug Pet, Stickmin Pet and Mini Crewmate bundles
- Retail Exclusive Downloadable Content
- 3D Lenticular Case
- Impostor Syndrome Sticker Sheet by Alyssa Herman
- 1 of 12 Special Mira HQ Holographic Access Cards by Hannako Lambert and PuffballsUnited
- Folded Skeld Map Poster by Cannon Kissane
- Redeemable Code for 6 PC/Phone Wallpapers by Amy Liu
If you want to nab a copy you can pre-order on the Maximum Games Store.
Are you hoping to find this in your festive stocking?

I never understood the attraction with owning a physical copy for what's primarily an online-only game?
@Magician People like holding boxes, seeing boxes on their shelf, showing off their collections, etc.
@Magician I agree, especially since Among Us has such a small digital price tag and such a small file size. I suppose the inclusion of physical goodies + the cosmetic DLC on the cartridge will make it worth it for superfans.
Idk, buying a $5 game for $30 is kinda s u s.
I'll leave now.
the pc version is currently in a humblebundle for 1€/$
This seems scammy
@Magician I’ll do you one better - I never understood the attraction to a game you can get on your phone for FREE.
Yeah, and we will still be dependent on Discord solutions to play properly. I don't get how they didn't make voice chat communication a priority addition for this game
