Allrighty then!
Where's Sir Killalot
Despite having bought all the Eng Subbed releases on GBA, Vita and Switch (plus single PS4 OG exclusive); yet to play any of them. Started the Gundam equivalent one though.
Still will buy this too.
Genesis, Cross Rays, X, V, T, and now the 30th anniversary are all on Switch now.

Is Jonathan Pearce going to be commentating?
If Craig Charles and Philippa Forrester's not involved I'm not interested
So what happened to links to find it?
Must buy for me .....
playasia even has free shipping right now!
I've been interested in this series since I discovered it was a thing, but the prices have kept me from buying in so far. That and the fact that I never know more than a few of the franchises in any given entry. Just seems like a big gamble.
Will be keeping a close eye on this.
STAND UP TO THE VICTORY
I'm happy to see V Gundam and L-GAIM in there and a few other classics I recognize. I lived and breathed SupaRobo Taisen games while living in Japan in the 90s-00s, but haven't played a single one since the the Game Cube title they released.
Which reminds me, where is DANCUUGA? There's so many new titles in this mix that I haven't seen, I'm worried if the huge investment for the game + music pack will be worth it for me. My tastes run toward the classic, so wish there was some Gaiking or Ideon sprinkled in here.
Really, I wonder if I should invest in SRW30 or maybe back up and get T (I think that had Capt. Harlock) or the other recent one (which had Space Cruiser Yamato).
Either way,
DON'T STOP CARRY ON!
@SwitchForce Play-Asia is usually a good place to import it, they have a free shipping promo happening right now as well.
I've waited a long time for this series. Always wanted a GBA version but nearest place i could get it was Canada so it was like £60 or more at the time. Definitely looking forward to this
Yay, more Rayearth representation!
@JasmineDragon I played SRW T 2 years ago and while yes, Magic Knight Rayearth was the only anime I knew (Reason I brought it, my fav anime) it was a good sample of seeing what the other shows are like and made me interested to go watch a few of them. I wouldn't really worry about not knowing a lot of the shows as far as I can tell, the games retell their series stories within this shared universe.
And I guess it also made me understand the appeal of mecha anime from playing. The absolute spectacle of some of the attacks and finishing movies are a sight to see.
That said, just be aware what you're getting into. Battles can be very long, but you can save at any moment during a battle and come back later. Took me about 65+ hours to beat the campaign of T and it was my first SRW.
If say these games are worth a play at least once for any gamer in the gene. Can't say I'd be obsessing over getting every release but it was an interesting choice experience.
@Angelic_Lapras_King Thanks for sharing! I appreciate hearing about the experience from people who, like me, are only casual fans or fans of only a few of the IPs involved. It is something I'd like to experience at least once, because the concept is just amazing and "out there" and I'm all for things like that.
Was T the one that included Cowboy Bebop? That's one that particularly piqued my interest because, well, Cowboy Bebop - need I say more?
@JasmineDragon It is yes. And if the idea of Spike pointing a gun at Captain Harlock doesn't hype you out then nothing will. XD
I'll never understand how autobattle is suppose to be a feature, you don't literally earn anything yourself. It's the opitamy of idling thru life. Or having a trophy handed to you just for playing. 🙄
Gridman FTW!!! XD, sad tho Fullmetal panic got no mention, or megas XLR even tho its not an anime.
@JasmineDragon Play Asia had it fairly cheap recently with free shipping. If it's still a lower price it may be your best time to buy. I have been playing this series for 20 years. They are good fun!
I’ll definitely be getting this, probably ahead/instead of the Advance Wars remake for my strategy fix.
I just need to get a bit further in SRW T.
Currently playing T and having a great time. Definitely going to pick this one up later on.
Guess I should finally get around to watching SSSS.Gridman beforehand though.
Note that there's now an official Steam release of this game. No need to import if you got a PC now. I would prefer a localised Switch version of this game but it's fine it isn't, I'll take what I can get.
@Some1onearth Agreed, I'm a little torn. I like my little physical import collection and would love it if we could get this for console as well. I may import for my collection at some point, but will likely get it on Steam at launch.
Im very happy this game is out. I love playing this series on the switch. I wish getting the DLC wasnt such a hassle though. Baby steps I guess.
