If you don't know Picrew, you're probably not online enough. For the record, that's usually a good thing — but Picrew is worth your notice all the same. It's a website that allows artists to publish character creators, and most of them are really good, and usually themed. The majority of the ones on the site are extremely intricate anime-style ones, but every now and again you'll get ones like this one, where the idea is silly, but immediately charming.
Artist Richie Z. (@sorrysaptwt) posted the Taiko no Tatsujin creator on Twitter earlier today, and it took off, presumably because everyone has always secretly wanted to be one of the taiko drums.

We've created some of our own, too, which largely revolve around having knives and/or pets.
Give the Picrew a go yourself, and let us know what kind of drum you are in the comments!

Forgive me father for I have sinned
What's the deal with adding the word "sona" to something?
It's not even the correct definition.
Why can't it just be called "fan character/creation"?
That is cute. I wish we would get more options like this for our Switch user icons. Even though the Mii option is kinda trying that. But my friend list still feels like it is repeating always the sane icons.
YESSS I love to see people sharing images in the comments!! And I love all your drumsonas thanku 🙏
I’m a one eyed taikoka so I made a one eyed Donko-chan. I’m basic.
Here's mine, its very random,
but I like it
I rarely post comments, but this is fun and I just had to!

@russell-marlow Everything needs its own label, whether it’s this, going to the supermarket (road trip) or going in Starbucks with the wife (lunch date).
Not really a fan of this series, but that was kind of fun to do.

Really like Snatcher's take on the character.
@stvnorman Well, it's not an appropriate label.
"sona" in Indian means "gold". Separating the English word "persona" into to separate words doesn't work.
I used an randomizer and this one just looks creative to me.
