Promoted to ‘essential’
We’ve all been in a job that we didn’t like very much. Heck, a lot of people – this writer included – have had jobs that they’ve actively hated, filled with menial tasks that make time grind to an absolute halt. Given the current world climate, chances are you’re safe and sound in your own home (and if you do...

"Our quest has ended"
Netherlands indie developer Paladin, who worked with Nintendo in 2020 on the Switch eShop title Good Job!, has announced it has "closed the studio" after "almost 19 years". Apart from Nintendo, the 45-person studio (which began life in 2005 and peaked at 55 people at one stage) worked with various other "incredible partners"...
Memory Pak Forget Zelda And Mario, Thumper Was The Biggest Surprise Of 2017
'Rhythm-Violence' game is now 5 years old
When the Nintendo Switch launched in March 2017, I — like many others — devoured The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I was hooked, and it was only when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launched a month later that I was wrenched away from the land of Hyrule. But while Mario Kart 8 remains as incredible as it was...

News Good Job! Is A Brand New Puzzler From Nintendo, And It's Out Now On Switch
Here's a closer look
Tucked away inside yesterday's Nintendo Direct Mini was a brand new game from Nintendo itself, Good Job!. Similarly to The Stretchers, a game which also launched out of nowhere back in November, this new title is packed to the brim with barmy puzzles. It has you taking on the role of a clumsy child trying to climb the corporate...
About The Game
In Good Job!, you can enjoy hilarious, physics-based puzzles alone, or with two players using drop-in, drop-out local multiplayer.
Can you hook up a projector without leaving everything in disarray? Can you move boxes while nimbly navigating a room with a forklift? Are you ready to water plants without creating an ocean of puddles in your path?
These tasks may sound simple, but trust us, they can be quite tricky to execute. This wacky and colorful romp tasks you with tons of problems to solve, checklists to conquer and obstacles to clear. You may even experience a few belly laughs along the way. The less chaos you cause, the higher your score, but making a mess is always half the fun!
