Last year, Capcom suffered a leak revealing a game called Resident Evil Outrage was scheduled for a Q4 2021 release.
As previously stated by Capcom insider Dusk Golem, this title is apparently Resident Evil Revelations 3 (or at least was originally named that at some point during development) and will be a "Switch-focused RE game" but not exclusive to the platform.
The same insider has now backed up previous claims - stating the game will arrive "within a year of [Resident Evil] Village's release" which is due out in May this year, and will be part of Capcom's big 25th anniversary celebrations for its long-running survival horror series.
"This is not from me, but for the record, Revelations 3 is coming out within a year of Village's release date, either late 2021 or early 2022.
"Releases as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, along with Village, almost definitely going to be a Switch timed exclusive. But that'll be announced later this year, for now Village is deserving of the attention, and out in just a few months now!"
Dusk Golem goes on to state how the game is "100%" running on the RE Engine that Capcom used for Monster Hunter Rise and while it's a "timed exclusive", it'll be releasing "on everything" as a cross-generation game. It was also mentioned how Rebecca would still be the protagonist:
"I first heard about Rev 3 in 2017 that it'd star Rebecca, and I've been updated several times over the years its a Rebecca game still. I'm semi aware of who the 2nd & 3rd protagonists are too, both returning characters, but these lips are zipped for now."
Dusk Golem previously shed light on a new Monster Hunter game for Switch well before the official announcement - explaining how it would be running on the RE Engine.
The last entry in the Revelations line was Resident Evil Revelations 2 - an episodic take on the survival horror series, which originally launched in 2015 and surfaced on Switch in 2017.

I like the Revelation games so bring it on
Most successful RE spinoff series..makes sense. Cant wait to see what they do with Switch targeted hardware
Never was into RE till Revelations. Looking forward to it!
🤔 If MH Rise is running on the RE Engine, why not bring over RE7 natively, and also RE2 & RE3? 🤔
Great stuff. Revelations 2 is like my 3rd favourite Resident Evil game, so I'm eager for more.
The spelled revelaitions wrong
Resident 'Budget' Evil.
Revelations 1 was a mixed bag back on the 3DS. Convoluted story, terrible goofy characters, Mindless episodic Shoot out filler that totally degraded the experience and the graphics just don't hold up. Fantastic 3D effect though, and the stuff that took place on the Ship itself was decent enough. there were moments that sparked that classic RE feeling too. I enjoyed most of it back on the 3DS but have zero desire to replay it.
Couldn't get into Revelations 2 however. hated the bland prison and Island environments, Barry's daughter, having a 2nd character string along just for their abilities. Revelations 1 & 2 feel like they originated from an RE Manga or something. Not only do they scream budget, but they completely went off the rails and got a little too bat sh** crazy for my liking.
An exclusive Revelations 3 on Switch would be good for Nintendo, but i dont see any real benefit to the game itself other than Portability if that's your thing.....PS5 has haptic Feeback & Adaptive triggers which beat out the switch's HD Rumble so that's no longer an exclusive feature, plus the Joy-con's Gyro pointer controls are pretty much garbage, and fail to replicate Wii remote pointer controls + Sensor bar(under proper lighting conditions) which were above and beyond more reliable and actually STABLE. I find myself having to press the re center button on either the Joy-con or Pro controller and constantly fighting the controls. Pikmin 3 deluxe is the perfect example of having broken gyro pointer controls. The Wii U versions Wii remote pointer controls work flawlessly though!
Anyways, I'd rather buy this on PS5, and get a 4K resolution bump, better visuals and a higher frame rate if it gets a multi-console release. But if it's a timed exclusive on switch, then i'll just get it on that.
@EVIL-C Its a Nintendo Switch specific RE engine not the one that is used by the home consoles.
Also the leaked name is not Outbreak but OUTRAGE. Get it right, article
@Wavey84 if it does come to ps5, it will only come to it after a switch release which will depend on how long Nintendo wants. (Maybe 6 months or 1 year)
Its now actually gonna be a timed switch exclusive supposedly.
Also if this built with the switch in mind, chances are that it is gonna run terrible on other platforms. Just look at Revelations 1 on home consoles and they run like s*** compared to the 3DS version and the HD NS version.
Bruh if the gyro controls are a problem for you, just don't use it.
I don’t want revelations.. I want a mainline resident evil game..
Good stuff, nice to see Capcom making several Switch focused games. Also cool to hear that Rebecca is returning.
@Mgene15
Then get a PS5, lol.
No way a new mainline RE game is coming to the Switch anytime soon. Maybe as a cloud release...
@michellelynn0976
Believe it or not, but one can actually criticize Nintendo and still be a big Nintendo fan.
I hope its a 3rd person title thats similar to RE1-3 remakes in quality. I enjoyed the revelation games but didnt like the first ones segmented feel and didnt like rev 2s horror tv series feel (walking dead). I love how rev 2 handled co op though, takes away from the horror though.
Haven’t been into RE since GameCube
@Wavey84 not on this forum. Nintendo fanboys will and do cry
@RushDawg already have a ps5. A mainline re is too much to ask?
@Wavey84 Totally agree with you on this. I’m a nintendo fan, but I love my Resident Evil games and there’s no way I’m playing it on Switch if it’s coming to PC. My full RE collection is on STEAM and I intend to keep it that. I want the best when playing my RE games.
@Mgene15
pretty much. She or he is just showing their age.
500 door step? This 500 door step works with a PSVR, has Resident Evil 7, RE2, RE3, God of War, Titanfall 2, Guilty Gear Strive, the better looking versions of Dragon Ball Fighterz, Mega Man 11, Mortal Kombat 11, Little Nightmares 1&2, DOOM & DOOM eternal etc, plus all of the arcade archives, neogeo classics, retro Console & arcade compilations that the switch has. Even the older resident evil ports be it RE4, Revelations 2, RE5 etc on Switch look worse and perform worse(depending) and have lower resolutions compared to the PS4 Versions.
At this point you buy the Switch for it's exclusives, hybrid portability and HD Rumble if you also have a PS4 or PS5. Although, all of those old retro console/arcade games feel a LOT more at home on the nintendo switch.
Good for the Switch, but I don’t like the revelations games sadly. I’d like a game more in line with the games 0-3 please.
Been waiting forever it seems now...
@Tendogamerxxx
Yeah man
I was tempted to get some of the older RE titles on switch when they were on Sale....But ultimately passed due to the graphical differences in comparison to the PS4 Pro Versions.
RE4 for example, is 900p on switch and 1080p on PS4, plus the Switch version has horrible ground textures or missing texture all together. Meanwhile, RE5, RE6 and REV2 on switch runs only in 30fps...I mean this is a popular trend for the vast majority of ports and multi console releases, so it's no surprise. why settle for much less if you have a PS4 Pro, PS5 or PC on the side? Not a big fan of portable gaming anymore either so that feature's gone out the window.
@Wavey84 you can’t play RE on your PS5 under a blanket on your bed though. The way I prefer to play these games.
@michellelynn0976 you're still convinced there's nothing to play on the playstation 5?
@Friendly
1, 2, 3, 1Remake, 4, 7(VR), 2Remake & 3Remake I'd say are the best in the main line series....RE5 was decent back in it's day(hate it now) at best but was better with online co-op , RE6 was total trash(I couldn't finish it) and i like to pretend the events that took place in RE0 were just part of a dream lol
I have a hard time believing that some final fantasy looking opera signing villain was responsible for what happened let alone being in an RE game , along with those stupid leaches and REBECCA frikkin chambers of all people taking center stage and leading the way. worst RE character. There i said it.
Still, the graphics at the time were fantastic, along with the brooding atmosphere, it was nice being able to drop items and i actually enjoyed the duo item management system which felt like a puzzle within itself. It's decent i guess if you can suspend your disbelief and act like it's none cannon. But even so, by the time RE0 came out the traditional RE formula was an old hat and that's putting it nicely. Heck, i was growing tired of the traditional RE formula the moment i starting playing the RE1 remake in 2002 which every single RE Super fan(except me) raves about.
Was never a big fan of code veronica either. they dropped the ball with that one too. You could tell that a less tier developer was on board for that one. Wesker and his Matrix inspired fighting shinanigans, Steve(oh steve...), the bland 3D environemnts, lack of gore, weak characters and fairy tale presentation. Code Veronica is a 'Girls' resident evil.
@Friendly
Just throw the blanket over yourself and a 65" OLED.
I honestly can't even go back to the older RE games anymore. The traditional series, including the Remake and RE0 remaster were truly products of their time. Once you experience RE2 Remake and get a taste of how advanced the controls and visuals are you just can't go back.
RE4 is showing it's age as well. It's much clunkier, restrictive, limiting and the visuals make the entire experience almost feel lifeless. I'm about moving forward, so it's RE7, 2Remake & 3Remake for me, with 8 on the way.
I'll never forget the amazing time i had RE1 back on the PS1 in 1996. whew! groundbreaking it twas! the first of it's kind, stunning visually, innovative, original and was like you were partaking in a horror movie...
the last time a resident evil game blew me away like that was with RE7 in VR.
The same source says that Rebecca Chambers is no longer a white woman but is going to be portrayed as being more Japanese.
Apparently they're going to base Becca on a Japanese model.
If I remember correctly, the character modeler for RE Zero based her character on a famous Japanese actress. But he had to make some changes to avoid getting sued.
So I guess that she was always supposed to be Japanese (or part Japanese)
Being a timed-exclusive to the Nintendo Switch means quality assurance for the Switch version. As much as I praise Panic Button and other developers who work their butts off to port a huge game to the Switch, having mainstream developers create games that can be optimized for all available platforms has always been the nicer way to go. It sacrifices the top-of-the-line graphics and physics, but think it's really only because the power gap is too wide, compared to back then.
Loved Revalations 1 never played 2 because it looked strange from what I saw but people apparently liked it. Looking forward to this!
It Capcom aren't going to spring for a physical release, then they shouldn't even bother. Their treatment of the franchise on Switch has been a joke with their one game physical, download the rest crap.
>"insider"
>"news"
Revelations 1 & 2 are two of my favorite RE titles so getting Revelations 3 on switch would be great!
@Wavey84 Mostly agreed - I loved the ship missions of Revelations on the 3DS, but felt most of the rest of the game fell flat. The tight corridor environments make sense on a ship, and forcing you to stop moving to aim really slowed down the action in a way that helped the horror feel. The textures and lighting were heavily optimized for the system's stereoscopic effect, and it still tricks into looking more impressive than it should when played today. The netcode was unusually good at the time for Nintendo hardware. I also liked the monster designs a lot better than the traditional zombies of the series. All that said, the Switch is a different beast, and without the challenge of building a horror game designed for the unique limitations of the 3DS I felt the 2nd game fell flat.
I'm all for another ship-setting (or submarine, USSR-style underwater bunker-city, space, etc. Go wild with the spinoff to set a more dangerous setting) game, but I'm not sure what would set it apart, tbh. I haven't played the recent remakes, but it seems like the main series is returning to the slower-paced horror, so I'm not sure the niche is still there for this?
@Chunkboi79 right now, there isn't. Ratchet and Clank will change that.
Look, I got onto Nintendo for the Wii U. I am not afraid to criticize Nintendo. I didn't give them a free pass, and I'm not going to give Sony one.
@michellelynn0976
You forgot Resident Evil 8 Village. Ratchet & clank is in the back seat compared to that one.
just out of curiosity, which consoles did you own prior during their launch?
@Wavey84 I never said that. I have criticized Nintendo, but I have the games. Their Gyro works fine, maybe it is your JoyCon.
@Mgene15 You haven't seen the Ponies call me slurs, insult my Intelligence and I have criticized. Read up about me before making a baseless accusation. Grow up. Sony ponies on here cry and go after me. So, cry me a river.
@michellelynn0976
Nope. Joycon Gyro pointer controls aren't reliable. I have 4 joy-cons and they all yield the same results. I was a huge fan of Wii remote pointer controls + Sensor bar, again under controlled lighting. When done right, they were amazing. joy-con pointer controls on the other hand work differently and go out of sync constantly with your own movements and have to constantly be repositioned with the start button.
And Sony ponies? You must be really young, which is fine. Fanboyism rarely exists when you're pushing past your 30's.
It's usually a 'thing' for 8 - early to mid 20-something year olds.
@Wavey84 RE8 is multiplatform. That doesn't count.
@Wavey84 Wrong. I got 2 and they work fine. When I play Doom, RER, and BOTW. It plays very well.
@michellelynn0976
If it supported PSVR it would, but still no confirmation on that.
I can't speak for DOOM or DOOM eternal in regards to joycon pointer controls(i have the PS4 versions) but for the old DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM 64 ports which boast HD rumble and pointer controls, they do in fact go out of sync. Pikmin 3 deluxe, same deal, toad treasure tracker, same deal etc.
@Wavey84 Here comes the excuse of Sony launches suck, so does everyone else.
Wrong.
N64 had Mario 64 and Waverace.
Dreamcast has one of the best launches ever.
Xbox had Halo1.
SNES had Mario World and F-Zero.
Sony? Their launches always suck. They get better over time, but no one seems to call them out for this.
Wow, Capcom is really coming through this year.
Resident Evil Revelations is still the best looking game on 3DS, and, while it's definitely not a perfect series entry, it was vastly preferable to the console games at the time in that it had a sense of horror to it, much of that due to the dark, claustrophobic cruise ship setting.
I'd love to see a similar level of care brought to a Switch-focused series entry.
@Wavey84 VR? No, it still won't make it. Because VR doesn't make the game exclusive.
@Ralizah Capcom is knocking it out.
@michellelynn0976
You can't play RE7 in VR on other consoles or even PC, it's exclusive to the PSVR.
So yeah, in that case it counts. RE8 might have more leeway unless Sony pays capcom to do it again. It would be better suited for a PSVR2 seeing as how the PSVR is a dated 4 year old tech.
@Wavey84 No it doesn't. It is the same game. If Zelda was the same game for the new Nintendo system, and the Switch. If the New system version had VR, it wouldn't count.
@michellelynn0976
Have you actually played RE7 in VR? It's MIND blowing. you cannot whatsoever compare it to playing it on a flat 2D rectangular screen. VR pits you in that mansion and 10 folds the immersions, suspense, atmosphere and scares. It's a highly immersive visceral one of a kind experience that doesn't come along too often.
So yes, it's an exclusive experience on PSVR + PS4.
@Wavey84 Na. It is the same game. It isnt exclusive. Just an exclusive feature. Which is cool if that is what people want. Have fun, you know?
@michellelynn0976
I get the impression you've never tried PSVR.
Playing RE7 on a TV pales in comparison to playing it in VR.
But whatever, the 'VR' RE7 experience is exclusive only to PS4 and that's a fact
Code Veronica is a 'Girls' resident evil.
@Wavey84 Care to explain this comment?
@COVIDberry
The subtle romance between Steve and Claire towards the end of his demise was almost giving me Titanic vibes, then there's the fairy tale-esque save room music(Which i actually really like btw), Alexia and her brother were tamer villians that felt like they were peeled out of a disney movie with a pinch of parasite eve. and...well, i dont know. There's just something a little more feminine and soft about code veronica's delivery that makes it stand out from the rest.
Ah, a Resident evil game (almost) nobody asked for. Just bring Resi 7 and 8, you a..holes!
"This is not from me, but for the record..."
Revelations indeed.
Funny how people can assume the majority of the population shares their personal opinion. FYI - just because "you" never liked the Revelations games, doesn't mean no one else did. So don't ever say nobody wanted a Revelations sequel because that's not factual at all. I'm personally a fan of Revelations 1 and 2 and prefer them over mainline series 5 and 6.
@Wavey84 Gyro >>>>>>>>> twin stick shooting.
@Friendly
Wii Remote Pointer controls > Dual Analog.
Joy-con pointer controls are pretty much busted.
At least the HD rumble is pretty awesome! It can really make a difference, even for stuff like Splatterhouse(Arcade) in the Namco Museum Collection hehe.
@Wavey84 do you know the difference between gyro and pointer controls?
And what use gyro has in shooters?
Enjoyed the first game a lot when it came out.
I loved 1&2 on the switch. Both very enjoyable. This will be day one. More RE on switch the better.
It would be awesome to have an unique RE game for Switch! I really hope it's true!
However, I'd also LOVED to have RE7 and the remakes. They would do great I think.
I am really looking forward to Resident Evil Revelations 3 on the Switch. And i pray daily to the gods of Quality Control that it will not suck as hard as Revelations 2 did. We shall see when its here. Also it would be nice to see Rachel Foley again.
This is good news. Proper RE experience. Hopefully not the RE 7 FPS creepy house stuff. Why was that even an RE game? FYI I never played it so I'm holy unqualified to comment really, just going on what I've seen online. It just didn't seem like an RE game at all, hiding all the time. More like Alien Isolation. Village seems like its more visually in the vein of RE 4 which is very nice. I still don't like the move to FPS though. It somehow doesn't feel RE when in that viewpoint. I guess Revelations 3 might do the same. Anyway we'll see. I'm all for new Resident Evil.... still working through Rev 1 not even got to Rev 2 yet.
Good news. I wonder if this cluster of (timed?) exclusives is a sign of Nintendo getting a bit more aggressive in terms of getting third-party support.
@electrolite77
The original RE Revelations was a timed 3DS exclusive, so RE Outrage/Revelations 3 being a timed Switch exclusive is par for the course.
Why must this stuff be leaked? Let them announce these things for themselves. That way, if it's real, the announcement excitement will be much bigger. If it's not real, disappointment will not be had.
I truthfully don't understand these kinds of leaks. Outside of people being that needy for their 15 minutes of internet fame.
That said, I'd love a Revelations 3 on Switch.
Rev 1&2 are the best in the series (other than 4) I could not be more excited for this. My heart is so full!
That would be cool, really enjoyed revelations 1, never played the 2nd one though outside episode 1
It better have an even BETTER raise mode than what was in 2. Lots of fun had in raid mode. Tho it got repetitive.
I loved the first Revelations on the 3DS, it’s one of my favorite 3rd party titles on there. It did get a bit off the rails at the end, and two characters specifically were cringeworthy, but I loved the environments and gameplay.
If this is true, I’m really excited.
I liked 1 and 2 better. Didn’t play RE7 because it’s a joke. I never played resident evil for the jump scares. Making one focused on that is dumb
@Wavey84 Switch also has haptic feedback (unless it's lite)
I loved the RE, so I'm excited for both Village and Rev 3. Will be getting both on pc tho.
If it plays like 4 with gyro aim, I'm so in. How good is it, that Capcom are making games for the Switch now? Just fab Come on Konami! (It's like getting the band back together lol)
in other news...
DIIIIIIRRRRREEEEECCCTTTTTTT!!!!!
@Yosher The point of these specifically is clout chasing. Dusk Golem is an attention whoring fraud that keeps "leaking" news of all these highly demanded games. Dino Crisis, RE Code Veronica, MGS, Silent Hill, and Bloodborne PC/PS5 were all being "leaked" by him and almost all of them have been completely debunked while he's playing the Emily Rogers card of saying "n-no not THIS presentation, they delayed it" when the event that was supposed to have the MGS or SH announcements doesn't have either.
@westman98
Does precedent really mean all that much? It went multiplatform and the second one was multiplatform at launch. More likely it’s about money.
@Mgene15 technically revelations IS a mainline title.
It is considered a spin off because it is not a numbered entry
@BRAINFOX he is the one who leaked MH Rise.
In August, he said MH on switch is built with the RE engine and built with the switch in mind
And we got MH Rise coming soon.
@anoyonmus Looked into that and it seems that the earliest report of MH Rise was made by a Reddit user named PracticalBrush12. Not sure if that's his alt though because Dusk Golem goes by AestheticGamer on there iirc.
I would play it but apparently the RE games on switch are slow
@BRAINFOX it could be. who knows.
But dusk golem is the one who made it publicly tho
@RushDawg
Ummm, let's not forget or act like that or isn't an Xbox series X or PC out there now.
@Wavey84
I have played a good bit in VR & eh; it's a cool feature, but not nearly all of what you're making it out to be. The bit more immersion is certainly cool, but it comes at a price as it doesn't look nearly as good and some thing's can be a bit cumbersome. Outside of the jump-scares and such being a lot more intense, that's really about it that I would give it over just playing it on my big TV with the sound kicking.
@gameboy1975
If you didn't select 'none' under the VR FOV settings and switch Turning & Crouching to smooth than you did it wrong. By switching FOV to none makes a big difference by expanding your FOV to fill the entirety of your vision and gets rid of all of that dark shadowy BS that surrounds what you see. I was initially somewhat disappointed until i made these changes.
but ya, the visuals do take a bit of a hit. but i never personally found the controls to be cumbersome, at least with Smooth turning and crouching on. If anything, i ended up getting the VR swirlies but after the 2nd or 3rd try, i eventually grew my VR legs.
What i hate about playing RE7 on a TV is that it blurs Ethan's hands/arms & weapon whenever you decide to block or draw your gun, this doesn't happen in VR. plus, that level of immersion, visceral feeling, scare factor and suspense nearly goes out the window when played on a TV. There's no comparison when you're pitted IN that house in VR, where things feel alive thanks to the 3D effect rather than staring a flat rectangle.
I struggled to go back to playing it on my TV, i just couldn't deal even with the higher resolution and pristine visuals. That's the power of VR&Stereoscopic 3D I guess. being able to distinguish the depth between you and objectives within your environment is amazing. Although the PSVR is limited in this area...Areas and objects further out in the distance generally look flat which is disappointing, but for titles that are more confined to smaller areas this isn't an issue. With the PSVR2 this will be improved upon no doubt.
@Wavey84 too much whining lol
@anoyonmus we knew about Rise before then. The MH franchise has two teams that start on the next console/portable entry once the G rank for thier game is completed. It's like we know there will be a new console version for ps5, xbox sx and pc soon as that would have been started as soon as Iceborne finished by the console team. Rise has been in development since GU (XX in Japan) on the 3ds finshed up by the portable team. We westerners got it on the switch as it coming out at the end of the 3ds life cycle.
But yes, MH has always worked this way so leaks that a new one is coming isn't really a thing when we already knew one was in development.
@Meikahidenori but we didn't know that Capcom is using the RE engine to bring MH rise to switch
@anoyonmus true, but should have been sort of expected since everything else capcom has been making/releaseing since MHW was released has been using it in some form, World possibly one of the only games they've made using a completely different engine. If anything, people should be more suprised Rise had originally a 3ds build in it's development more than the fact its on the RE engine as it's rare now to build one that doesn't work multi platform and with the PS, Xbox and PC becoming extremely similar there's not really an excuse to have multiple engines for different systems, especially when the switch only has to run them at the lower end to be able to use it as well (I mean some devs do test games on low end pcs not many but there's a few that still do.)
4 year dev cycles having a game swap engines in between is rather normal these days too so it shouldn't be suprising to see the portable team choose that over what the console team used that caused them alot of rigging issues with some monsters. After making GU they probably didn't want to sacrifice certain species with how popular they were and wanted them back. (The producer even stating he wanted to make a snake like monster and finally he gets to! The only true snake wyven was back in 4/4U and that was designed by the consoleteam, not the portable...so can understand him wanting to make his own. )
@Dethmunk There's little to no hiding in RE7. And the creepy house part is pretty on point for RE, it's following almost the exact formula of the original game in it's structure.
@michellelynn0976 lol or someone's entire backlog of ps4 games. Since it can play basically 99% of ps4 games.
@EVIL-C because. 20 fps and 510p on a television is considered "not playable" 💪
Also "💰
@Chunkboi79 Wii U, Xbox One had backward compatibility. Keep making excuses. Sorry, your God Sony, don't get a pass.
@michellelynn0976 Okay? Nintendo doesn't have backwards compatibility now and gets off charging 60 dollars for ports.
Saying that Sony has the whole backlog of ps4 games is hardly an excuse. Considering I easily have 300 games in which I bet I haven't touched 200 of them from playstation plus and sales alike. Especially since Sony launched the ps5 with a handful of games. Like spiderman, little big planet, dark souls, assassins creed vahalla, COD, and Astros play room.
The drone in you is strong.
Looking forward to official news. I enjoy RE spinoffs more than the main games and also resident evil side modes more than story modes.
1st revelations was great for showing what was suprisingly possible on the 3ds and was a solid game. I enjoyed revelations 2 way more than the first and I even enjoyed the story mode and characters more but especially the setting.
Personally i prefer having having an A.I character tag alone to swap with especially when they have their own unique skills. The game is just less boring and fixed that way. However Id also prefer if future games were designed so that you didnt specifically need certain characters or numbers of game specific characters but if you did happen to choose to play in company or with a specific character it would be the icing on the cake.
@Chunkboi79 Who said that? No blinded Pony bot. I am saying that ponies like you let Siny get away with it all the time. Also, Sony charges full price for ports. Get a life.
@michellelynn0976 when was last time Sony charged full price for a port? Secondly when was the last time they remained at 60 dollars for years on end? Shoot I got the Nathan drake collection for 7 bucks on the playstation store. When was the last time you bought 3 nintendo games for 7 bucks?
@Chunkboi79 Lou. Sony also stated that. And, Sony is charging 10 bucks more for a game released on the same day.
@Chunkboi79 People like you don't seem to realize that when games go on aale like that (bigger budget games), the devs don't get as much money. That is why more Sony 1st party games come to PC.
@michellelynn0976 what does either of those comments have to do with you getting three nintendo games for 7 bucks? You going to answer my simple question?
Who said that I have to buy them at 70 bucks? I'll wait until a sale price like I always do. Nintendo pigeon holes people into paying 60 bucks for everything. Even look at the embarrassment of skyward sword
@Chunkboi79 Because you act like Sony is some saint. Lol, Get real. Na, Skyward Sword will be worth it. Also, they may not go on sale as much anymore. Games are more expensive to make, and while lowering them down is nice for consumers, sadly, it takes away from developers who need more money for when their company doesn't have a game coming out.
@Chunkboi79 Why do you ponies come here anyway? Seriously? You infect this site like a disease. It is like Sony can do no wrong, Nintendo can't do anything right and anyone who calls you on your BS, you get butthurt over and go after. Grow up.
@michellelynn0976 No it's because I have both nintendo and sony consoles and I get wayyy more out of my ps4 in terms of value than any of my Nintendo systems.
You act like Nintendo doesn't have enough money to lose 250 million a year and still survive until 2052. You call me a pony but all you're doing to enabling poor consumer practices from Nintendo while making false claims that the PS5 has nothing to play on it. When in reality it has a massive selection from the ps4 library and the few games it launched with.
@Chunkboi79 They pay their employees well. Even the lower-level people. Tell me, why is Sony charging 10 dollars more now? Let's watch the mental gymnastics. PS4 had nothing last 2 years. Nothing it's first 2 years. It had 3 good years and 4 bad years. A bbelow-averageconsole held up by blind ponies like you.
@Chunkboi79 Why is Sony charging people for shipping to have a broken PS5 controller fixed. Hmmm
@michellelynn0976 wtf are you even going on about. Last year we got ghost of tsushima, spiderman, last of us 2, and sackboy? the first two years of ps4 we got killzone, shadow of mordor, infamous second son, and destiny.
Nintendo charges full price for 10 year old ports and artificially inflates their prices. Same song and dance.
@Chunkboi79 GOT, average at best. Spiderman was OK. Demon Souls was clunky, LoU2, don't even get me started on that disaster or FF7R. What an abomination.
@Chunkboi79 So does Sony, so pony. What is your point?
@Chunkboi79
Oops. No one is perfect. Nintendo and Sony both do anti-consumer crap. The media focuses on Nintendo's more.

@Wavey84 I have tried it. I got a headache, so no thanks. But, I am glad you enjoyed it.
@Chunkboi79 Sony's digital purchase policy is worse than Microsoft and Nintendo's! Which are pretty bad.
@michellelynn0976 I read the article, this is all pretty old news. I reguarly play crossplatform with Rocket league, dauntless, and no mans sky. For the $60 playstation plus on the ps5 we most of the major big name games of the ps4 with the PS+ collection with three new games a month.
Glad to see you're keeping up with the times.
@Chunkboi79 Did not address the duel sense huh? Which I am glad Sony is getting sued for. Or their digital online policy huh? Hurts the pony narrative right?
@Chunkboi79 Glad to see you ignore their problems to prove your blind loyalty.
@michellelynn0976 I couldn't find anything on them charging for shipping. You got a source on that one?
Also I didn't ignore the problems. I'm saying that they corrected the issue on the crossplay and they increased the value of their subscription service.
@Chunkboi79 sure. And, my apologies. You seem like a cool person. Just not been me. Going through a lot, but I don't apologize. Nintendo fans need to hold Nintendo accountable, and Sony fans need to hold Sony accountable.

@michellelynn0976 lol. You are funny. Blind loyal Nintendo fanboy. Really funny
@WahooTime Grow up. I showed the proof. Get real and get over yourself. Pony.
@WahooTime I have criticized Nintendo, so keep being blind. Good job.
@michellelynn0976 thanks. I love your comments.
Nintendo is the best. Sony is the worst.
@WahooTime I used to think Sony was OK, until the PS3. I think I am just tired of people giving Sony a free pass.
