Arctic foxes are the best animal in Minecraft, and they're FINALLY getting their time in the spotlight with Mojang's 'Chills and Thrills' seasonal event for Minecraft Dungeons.
Starting today, December 18th, and running all the way past Christmas until the 30th, the Chills and Thrills event adds six new trials to the game, all themed around the coldest of seasons (er... at least in the Northern Hemisphere). There have also been some changes to the trial modifiers, including different numbers of chests, and tweaks to the artifact cooldowns.
Chills and Thrills also includes a new wintery outfit, new weapons, and apparently, invisible mobs. You know, that thing that happens in winter where monsters turn invisible? Oh, you didn't know about that? Never mind then. The Arctic Fox armour will let you cosplay as the squeaky little fellows, and the Frost Slayer sword and Shivering Bow will add icy combat to the monster-slaying fun.
Chills and Thrills is available now for all Minecraft Dungeons players, but for players who are interested in even more Dungeons content and don't mind paying for it, last week also saw the launch of the first DLC in the season pass, Howling Peaks.
Are you a fan of the Minecraft arctic foxes? Of course you are. They're adorable. Let us know how much you love the arctic fox in the comments below - or tell us what you'd like to see in the next Minecraft Dungeons update.

Guess no one really cares here.
Sounds cool. Very cool.
@Kalmaro It's on my game pass list of games to play, but I have greater priorities.
If the event was Christmas themed I'd probably be farming the stuff, but this armor set just blends in with the rest of the sets in the game. Fun game, but doesn't really feel like the endless game they want it to be, and even if it were I'd probably rather devote that time to something better.
