Wasn't 80's overdrive supposed to release today, too?
Super Mega Baseball 3 is the big one for me this week. I loved the demo for SMB2. I won't be getting it right away though. Got too much on my plate, the phenomenal Streets of Rage 4 and I'm about to start one of Hyper Light Drifter or Ori and the Blind Forest. Not sure what one to start with.
Huntdown looks dope. Already pre-ordered it. Too bad it doesn’t have online multiplayer though.
I’m patiently waiting for Huntdown. That game looks incredible. I forgot all about Void Bastards releasing today. I might pick that up depending how the reviews for the Switch version turns out.
The Steam listing for Lonely Mountains mentions a pretty big (1.0.4) update in February 2020... does anyone know if these changes made it into the Switch release?
Wasn't Huntdown announced 3 years ago? And people thought Pocket Rumble was vaporware.
I had no idea Elder Scrolls Blades was coming out so soon.
Fun fact about Megabyte Punch. The eShop listing mentions that it has amiibo support.
I'm going to give Task Force Kampas a whirl. Looks like a pretty bombastic shmup. I haven't played one of those since Danmaku Unlimited 3
I had somehow never heard of Void Bastards (is that word allowed in the comment section?) until a couple days ago, as I was browsing the shop. It looks absolutely gorgeous
Huntdown and Spirit of the North to the wishlist it is.
I want Void Bastards, but I'm waiting for a deep price cut first. It was free on Game Pass, so I struggle to justify $30 here.
I'll try Elder Scrolls Blades again. Maybe real controls will make it better than the phone experience
@holygeez03
The easiest way to find out would probably be to ping them on Twitter. https://twitter.com/LonelyMnts?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor
They did a livestream about an hour ago so I'm thinking they're probably actively watching comments, at least for a little while.
I'm really looking forward to Fury Unleashed. The Switch demo was great.
Really hoping that Jet Lancer is good. I like what I see, but a solid review will sway me into a purchase
Super mega baseball 3!
Super mega baseball 3!
Super mega baseball 3!
I'm thinking about Void Bastards. Even though I like real life physics based biking, I don't know if I'll get Lonely Mountain. Otherwise, I'm waiting for reviews for the other games. Curious about The Bullet: Time of Revenge.
I'd like to get super mega baseball but not at that price unless there's real players and teams involved.
@infernogott
I had the same thought. In fact, I just purchased it from the North American eShop, so yes, it definitely released today.
Not sure how/why Nintendolife left 80's Overdrive off their NA list.
I thought 80's Overdrive released today as well. Was it only a Europe release??
@Realness Trust me, it’s VERY good. Plays just like Luftrausers. Runs flawlessly on Switch, too!
I got Void Bastards on Game Pass and I was very disappointed with it. Interesting art style but the gunplay was awful and the level design was really repetitive. Got bored after an hour and deleted it, definitely not buying it on Switch.
What I did get was Jay and Silent Bob Mall Brawl, as a big fan of those early Kevin Smith flicks I just couldn't resist.
Lonely Mountain Downhill is a game that I will keep my eye on a sale for. I also got that game on Game Pass but I was really impressed with it and really enjoyed it.
Am I the only one who read the list and thought, "That game should be called Slayin 2: Electric Boogaloo"?
Is the Elder Scrolls: Blades really coming out this week?
Net Laner has my attention the most, though Lonely Mountains looks like a lot of fun.
Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms and Elder Scrolls: Blades (if it shows up). The first is just Progress Quest with better graphics and some interaction. The second might amuse me, until it doesn't.
