Next month, Two Point Hospital is headed to Nintendo Switch and other consoles. In preparation for the big day, the development team has shared a new video talking us through the basics of the game.
You can check it out for yourself above; Lead Designer Ben Huskins and Senior UI/UX Artist Lauren Woodroffe play through the first level of the PS4 version of the game, explaining exactly what you'll be getting up to and how it feels to play it on console.
On Steam, where it has been gaining popularity since launching in 2018, more than 10,000 players have offered their thoughts and feedback, giving the game a 'Very Positive' user rating. Naturally, then, we're pretty excited to check it out on Switch. You'll be able to do just that from 25th February, when the game launches with two DLCs included.
Are you looking forward to this one? Have you played it on PC before but like the sound of taking it on the go with Switch? Tell us below.

Very eagerly looking forward to playing this! Loved Theme Hospital when I was younger (and still do).
I'll keep an eye on it. It looks very unique and fun to sink so time into.
Looking forward to this one.
And we sit here wondering if Atlus will ever revive the Trauma Center franchise!
I really want this but not for $40. I'll hold out for a holiday sale or something.
Depends on the frame-rate.
Showing PS4 gameplay means nothing to me. I already know I'll enjoy the game mechanics.
I'm going to hold off buying this for now, will wait for a sale as next month I am buying Metro Redux
Still looking forward to this and still hoping it has touch screen support!
Just have my fingers and toes crossed this runs and looks the part on Switch. Not a given. That all being well, could easily be a GOTY contender for me since I was such a fan of Theme Hospital.
Had this pre-ordered for several months now. I'm a sucker for a good management sim.
I put more hours into this game in 2018 than in any other game in years. And I will do it all over again, it's just so brilliant!
Never played theme hospital but my wife loved it and has been asking me about that game for years. Really hope this satisfies that itch.
Already preordered
I cannot wait! I've been following this on the PC and if my PC was a lil more beefier I would have bought it.
looks great anyone know whether will they utilize touch screen controls with the switch?
Tis a great game and manages to capture the spirit of Theme Hospital well. Just needs a rat shooting bonus level =0p
Looks good, Theme Hospital is still a good game today, and this one seems to keep true to its spirit. I hope they scale the UI good on Switch while playing handheld.
Can’t wait to try this game out. Definitely a day 1 purchase for me.
@Zimon Thought the same, Im buying it either way. This was quite a system heavy game for pc, so I think it could struggle on switch unless ported well.
Fingers cross think i would rather have it for switch
I totally recommend this. I got it on PC so I am skipping on the Switch version but it is an excellent game. They really nailed the Sim Hospital vibe and updated it.
Heard great things about this. I’m pretty sure NL writer, @scully1888 recommended it to me over on Twitter last year, though I could be mistaken. Either way, although management sims aren’t my usual genre of preference, I’ll definitely be taking the plunge come February 25th. From my experience, 'yer man Scullion' is usually bang on the money.
I have this on PC - an excellent game but I am still concerned with how clunky the controls will feel on a console vs a keyboard and mouse.
Getting huge Wallace and Gromit vibes from these character models lol
