Trials Rising is being treated to five brand new tracks today as part of its Season 4 offerings, all bundled together in the game's third track pack.
Called 'Polar Expedition', this pack will have you wrapping up for the winter as you soar across snowy landscapes and ride on ice. We have details on all five tracks for you below, courtesy of an official Ubisoft blog post:
PERMAFROST
You like air? Cause Permafrost has air. You’ll need to really watch your airtime on this track as you string together jumps through a stunning village in Greenland that’s surrounded by glaciers. Will you use the Rhino to control your air time? Or go for the Mantis to possibly skip some jumps? This track has several options to bring home the victory.
GLACIAL MASS
What’s cooler than being cool? Glacial Mass. This track starts you on a glacier and takes you around sinking icebergs that will put your timing skills to the test. If you hear ice cracking on this track, it probably is, so move fast, Riders!
INUIT’S PARADISE
Been spending most our rides, racing through Inuit’s Paradise. The artic sky complete with Aurora Borealis gives this track the best vibes in the entire Expedition. Don’t get too distracted by the sights, though, as this track makes you pull out some serious technical skills. You may see a Snowman and a Snow Squirrel hanging out, but you’ll need some Snow Bunnyhops if you’re going to get on this leaderboard.
OUT COLD
This track will bring back some serious X-Files nostalgia. Starting during a storm near a military station, you’ll be plunged underground where the military would rather you not see. Secrets are contained within. Will you find them?
ICEFERNO
According to Dante, the final level of Hell was covered in ice. Where Inferno takes you into the depth of the fire, Iceferno will take you further into the ice. The Extreme track of the pack, only the top Riders will conquer Iceferno.
Does this give you an urge to revisit the game? Let us know with a comment below.

Good news!! Although I have never been able to connect online for some reason and their customer services couldn't help me out either. Has anyone else experienced this?
Great. The Switch version became very good after a few patches, and have no issues.
Switch also gets same upgrades as other systems same day. Switch version is 1:1 with others.
These new tracks is already out on Switch.
The problem is that these 3 "free" track packs costs 35 acorns each. Can be unlocked for free, but then you need to get squirrels on hard levels too first.
You can purchase Acorns with real money, but it's way overpriced. Infact Season pass is cheaper than buying these 3 track packs, but none of these is included in season pass...
@Johnno137426 I have that issue with RB Six Siege on both PC and Xbox One, but not on any other UBI Game ever on any system.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint etc. works 100% too.
@Ventilator Thanks for the heads up, I really like the game, but I haven't even played all the tracks from the last DLC, simply because I am playing other games.
Those acorns are hard to get, and I agree that they are overpriced.
@dugan I tried to farm Acorns, but it stopped after x amount of tracks as they were insanely placed and required too much precission and/or luck to get. That wasn't even on Extreme levels.
The worst thing is that you early on get only 1 acorn from each harder track, making it a impossible grind for most people as you need 105 acorns to unlock all 3 track packs for free.
These track packs should have been either free, or in the season pass.
So far, I've only been able to finish about 75% of extreme tracks, and able to get the bronze medal in 50% of the extreme tracks. Maybe a silver on a couple.
Thanks of the article heads-up. I will be hitting those new tracks.
@Ventilator Yeah, some of those acorns where you have to eject from the bike to fly real far are quite difficult. You have to push the analog stick the whole flight to get the rider to fly far enough. Pushing the analog stick in the air boosts the airborne rider's distance.(you may know that already). If you haven't tried youtube-ing the acorns to get the golden monkey/ halloween pumpkin/ or red candy cane for xmas , definitely try youtube. I've been able to get all except about 3. I'll admit, the tough ones that require ejecting the rider took 20 - 50+ tries. My brother I had fun trying find & get the acorns. They've added a bunch in the past year with dlc & holiday content.
For anyone that doesn't know, there's a filter on the map for "collectables" to see which tracks still have acorns if you find the golden monkey/orange pumpkin/red candy cane.
@Woomy_NNYes Congrats of getting nearly all. I have tried some of these levels, and they are hard. Needs xx amount of retries
It's more fun if two of you are grinding this, than alone.
I need to see if the holiday secrets is still in the game, or removed as i got none of them.
I knew of the filter, but i must have overseen the filter with acorns. Thanks.
@Ventilator For clarity, and anyone else reading, on the map screen, when you open the filter on the left side of the screen( L or LR button opens the filter menu), all the way at the bottom of the options list is "Collectibles" -those are the tracks that still have golden monkey/orange pumpkin/red candy cane that reward you with an acorn.
I finally beat Inferno V yesterday. I never thought I’d beat it in my lifetime.
Then I tried Iceferno... dear Lord God Almighty help me
