As one of gaming's leading franchises, it's no surprise that Pokémon has enjoyed some eye-catching crossover collaborations over the years – and now we've got another.
To mark the 25th anniversary of its Baby-G watch range, Casio has created a limited edition watch which focuses on the 25th Pokémon in the Pokédex, Pikachu. It's a woman's watch, but we dare say a great many male Pokémon fans will find this hard to resist (and hard to fit on their wrists, to boot).
The watch – model BGD-560PKC-1, in case you were wondering – "incorporates the style of the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green video games released in Japan in 1996 in a fun and ingenious way", with a sprite-based Pikachu appearing when watch's backlight is turned on. On the back of the case, you'll find Pikachu’s silhouette, and to cap it all off, the watch comes in a special Pokéball tin.
Outside of the branding, the watch offers the usual Baby-G benefits, such as 200-meter water resistance, shock resistance, a world time mode, stopwatch and alarm functions. It's a strictly limited edition affair and costs £99.90 direct from Casio. Let us know if you'll be buying one (either for yourself or a close relation) by posting a comment below.

Looks neat, but silicone wrist bands are a hard pass. Makes it look a little young (intentional, I'm sure) and makes my wrists sweat more than I'm okay with
It doesn't look too bad but I'll pass.
I'm 31 and I've never heard of whatever this is (ツ)_/¯
looks cheap, because it is cheap, now if Tag of Omega made one..no hang on they don't make cheap tacky crap like this.
I haven't seen a G-Shock watch in years! Personally I preferred the Casio Databank watches back in the day.
Clicked on the article to get the link, but £100? Exsqueeze me? Was expecting closer to £30.
Those aren't comfortable.
Speaking of Poke merch, Pokemon and the Mister Donut chain are selling exclusive dishware & Donuts in Japan right now. https://youtu.be/ZT7x_UipKP0
Not interested unless it plays the Theme from the show, then we're talking!
They should have made one you can play first gen pokemon with. Ok it would have been a pain to play but anyway. Looks nice though.
@BulkSlash I still have my DataBank that I got in 2003. Changed the battery only once.
"Let me be your fantasy"
No wait! Wrong letter
@XBontendo It's not a silicone band, it's resin.
