Good Smile Company, known for its high-quality figurines, this weekend revealed a new range of Nendoroid at the 2019 Wonder Festival summer event in Japan.
Below you can see an update of the Breath of the Wild Princess Zelda Nendoroid (previously announced earlier this month) and prototypes for Splatoon Boy, Edelgard von Hresvelg from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Waddle Dee from the Kirby series and Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble from the upcoming release Pokémon Sword and Shield.
A Nendoroid based on Bayonetta was also announced. Unfortunately, there is no prototype of this one just yet.
Will be adding of these to your own collection? Leave a comment below.

That is awesome that Waddle Dee is getting a Nendoroid.
But Trio starter of Pokemon Sword / Shield are colorless...
@Anti-Matter They're prototypes.
Ok, these are much cuter looking than the Funko Pop collectibles that are so popular. I might actually be interested. Anybody know how much these usually run in US dollars?
NL, perhaps you had news to the contrary, but the Zelda nendroid had the same Japanese “still in development’ caption as the other ones...
@FiveDigitLP
Wait til you see the price lol the rare ones go for over £100 but usually around £40 to £60 in UK money
Where’s figma Botw Link?
Um, aren't they also doing a Edlegard one as well?
@FiveDigitLP Usually around $50US if they turn up at Best Buy. KH Sora was a recent release that went for $50, for example, but also was marked down occasionally during sales. Sometimes higher if you see one at a comics/collectibles store, and always higher if found in a Japanese specialty shop like Kinokuniya Books (because Kinokuniya usually charges more than the going rate in Yen).
I find Tokyo Otaku Mode has reasonable prices (an online shop; all one word, just add a .com at the end), much closer to the originals since they're supposed to start at around $30-$40 for the standard ones. They're also an official distributor for GoodSmile, they even allow preorders and carry the reprints if available. The downside, try to place an order with other things to build up to the free shipping offer since most of their items ship straight from their warehouses in Japan, it's going to be expensive! At the very least we know they're legit and you won't get swindled with a knockoff. (I see those from time to time at conventions)
Give me the squid boy now! jk jk l don't want it or do l?
also l'm excited for Bayonetta one, can't wait to see it.
That Inkling one looks really cool. And that Waddle Dee one too.
Waddle Dee? I'm sold.
Does anybody know if they'll make nendroids for fire emblem three houses charecters?
These are soooo much better than those silly Pop/Funko figures. So much better.
@Heavyarms55 The best part are that these come with lots of accessories so you can pose them in different ways etc. I have multiple ones and they are all really great.
Nintendoroids: Rise of the Nendoroid Nintendo Droids
@Varazadi No, but they do cost about 4 times what they are worth, and Nendroids aren't 5000 dollars either, unless you're buying some special edition being scalped to high heaven, and even then I've never seen one more than about 200 dollars.
@RevampedSpider I assume they became popular because they are dirt cheap and made deals with the devil or something and somehow got permission to make like, every licences character ever. People aren't buying them because they like Funko, they are buying them because they like the characters and they are very cheap.
But personally, that's not enough for me. Funko are garbage. Super low quality, ugly and cookie cutter as all heck. I'd rather have a few quality figures than piles of crappy ones.
@RevampedSpider I remember that movie. It was creepy but also somehow very forgettable. I remember thinking it was creepy more than any details about the movie itself.
