Build-A-Bear has offered a Pokémon line for a number of years now, with more pocket monsters added to the workshop on a regular basis.
According to the company's official Twitter account, the next Pokémon collaboration coming to the workshop is linked to the upcoming movie Detective Pikachu, due out in cinemas on 10th May. The plan is to host special in-store events:

I'm interested to see what this "event" is. I'm sure it won't be much, but it'll be interesting to see what it is nonetheless.
Cool, I'll get to read more sob stories on Facebook about how children were forced to queue for 6 hours hours but still didn't get one, even though it was the parents who decided to stand there all day 😜
I'm getting so much Pikachu merch from Tokyo next week to take/wear to a midnight screening. I'm going all out for this event.
I'd build a Detective Pikachu too. More likely they'll just realise outfits as they've already done Pikachu, haven't they?
