No.
Weird that it's a Switch exclusive considering it looks like a VR game.
I miss Boom Blox.
This looks fun & it’s priced right. I’ll probably pick it up on release.
Pro controller??
@SmaggTheSmug
Too cute for VR.
Rift/Occulus owners only like the color black, their personal music collection, and Star Wars references.
@Pod "Too cute for VR"
It is. I have PSVR, every freaking game was so dark, scary, and ugly. Astro-Bot Rescue Mission and Moss released for a little color, but it's pretty much been all dark and gloomy all the time before that. Though Farpoint was bright and brown. I'd pick this up on PSVR, I have 2 Move controllers. 1 in the headset 1 on TV would be fine, we could take turns in VR.
@DrJiggle I thought this was a Boom Blox clone, but it's not, it's a brick breaker. Reminds me of a game my kids used to play on PS3 only that was on the ground, but I can't recall the name, and Google can't find it either.
This game really needs a 1-3 level demo so we can see how well it works, both in motion detection and the HD rumble. And they need to make it 4 player, 1 Joycon each, for some serious chaos. Though I suppose 4 player co-op would cover the entire screen. I wonder if they could program it to see who's paddle got there first?
I'll keep an eye on it.
Oh, and the Boom Blox people should sue them for that logo.
Reminds me of how Boom Blox carried the text "A Steven Spielberg | EA Game" over the title.
Story was that EA had signed a deal with Spielberg to create one visionary title for each of the three major consoles at the time. Supposedly he and the team had a ton of fun with coming up with stuff for Boom Blox, and it was the kind of game that could be kept on budget easily.
The second game that was in production for PS3 was a very ambitious adventure, that spiraled out of control and eventually got axed. And thus we never got to hear of what he had in mind for the Xbox.
Meanwhile, Boom Blox received a sequel.
Looks like a re-purposed VR game?
And yes... someone make BOOM BLOX 3!! With a scoring and strategy system that works...
@rjejr Kind of reminds me of the old school Breakout series of games just using 3d visuals instead.
@Ernest_The_Crab Well everything is based on breakout, that's the first.
@rjejr Now you made me feel old
@Ernest_The_Crab But are you old enough to have had 1 of these as a kid? I'm guessing no, only a few of us here were. I can't understand home much time we wasted hitting a ball back and forth. Like all the time, almost every day. smh
@rjejr Yeah, I'm not THAT old. Farthest back I've got is a Game and Watch device that plays Donkey Kong.
A spiritual succesor to Boom Blox? That game was pretty fun, and so was its sequel.
@Ernest_The_Crab Did you have one of these Coleco Electronic QBs? They're making a big comeback for some reason. We played these outside when we weren't inside playing Pong.
When old people talk about the good ole days we arne't talking about electronics. 11" Black and white tvs with rabbit ears weren't' all they're cracked up to be either. Star Trek always looked like everybody was in the midst of being transported.
