If you're hoping to combine a love of combat, racing and all things Victorian, you're in for a treat. This is Speed Brawl, a lightning-quick brawler that sees you fighting and racing through the dank locales of an anime-style London in an all-out bloodsport. Filled with armored brutes, vicious aliens, and outlandish bosses, it's a co-op adventure that's going to suit Switch's multiplayer support down to the ground.
The fast and hard-hitting combat in Speed Brawl is all about maintaining momentum while judiciously managing the available energy used to unleash powerful special moves. You can upgrade and customise your tag-team of fighters through the acquisition of equipment and unlocking new and improved skills, so there's plenty of replay value beyond simple battles.
Speed Brawl is headed to Nintendo Switch this summer. Let us know what you make of this little indie offering in the comments below...

Looks mighty nifty!
looks like a fun ride. i'm in!
Useless trailer is useless.
The switch has so many good fighters out or on the way will be hard for it to make a dent.
Really digging the art direction. Hopefully the gameplay is solid.
Seen the title and immediately thought of Speedball 2 so I was disappointed to read that despite being fast and hard hitting it will be nothing like that legendary title.
Can’t judge until I see gameplay...
Looks fun, I love anime style games
No gameplay? Not interested yet.
Couch co-op! Yahoo!
What is with that art style in so many undies recently? It's like everyone hired the same artist from Tumblr.
I’m really digging the art style a lot but I need to see gameplay before I invest
Trailers with no gameplay footage in them are like those back-of-the-box photos from olden times (the 1980s) which featured only the pre-rendered title screens.
@Paraka It’s not uncommon for Tumblr artists to feature people in their undies.
@Ras - Talking actual style, not themes... Thaaaat's an entirely different nightmare.
The features like the nose and lips all seem to either be some weird obsession to replicate.
Just some gameplay and I think I'm in. Looks nice.
My interest is piqued, but I want to know what it looks like while pushing buttons.
For those like myself who don't care for trailers without gameplay, there are some gameplay gifs if you go to the website http://speedbrawl.com/
Game Developers goin on thinking they're making TV shows again
Thank you @mjholtzem
This game looks like it could be a lot of fun. Pretty satisfying-looking combat. I'm keeping an eye on it.
Art style is very nice but an intro and in-game are two different things.
The art style is nice, but the character design falls a little flat.
I was expecting more tophats and monocles, maybe with a bit of that JoJo's part 1 flair.
Worst trailer music
I would love to see gameplay
