Don't you just hate it when you go outside for a stroll and the heavens open, leaving you drenched? Soon you won't have to worry about that any more as Merchoid are here to equip you with the stylish Legend of Zelda Song of Storms Umbrella.
This officially licensed brolly has a design modelled after Link’s famous Master Sword and amazingly it transforms into an umbrella at the push of a button.
Merchoid’s community manager, Jessica Adams cheerfully said:
With the Zelda Song of Storms Umbrella you can do battle with the elements, transforming your sword into an umbrella at a push of a button. In Breath of the Wild, when scaling a mountain in search of a mystical shrine, you knew you were in trouble if dark clouds start rolling in during your ascent. Worry no more!
The umbrella is deployed simply by pressing the release button located near the top of the molded handle. The waterproof canopy features a repeating pattern of triforce emblems in pale blue with alternate darker blue panels with a single larger crest. Upon closing the umbrella there is a tie tag to secure the canopy in place.

It all looks rather lovely. If you fancy picking one of these up you can pre-order from Merchoid today for the princely sum of $34.99. They will be shipped just in time for the April showers. Now, if only we could get one of these in Breath of the Wild for those annoying moments when the heavens open, we'd be even happier...

I love it! However, I'm the kind of guy that would never use it since I don't want to get it messy.
That's awesome! I would use it though, it would just stay in the collection.
I need this in my life.
Amazing idea, especially as Song of Storms is my favourite Zelda song of all time. Unfortunately, I just can't justify paying 35 bucks for an umbrella.
That is brilliant, but not for $35, and i wouldnt want it in Breath of the Wild as it would attract lightning
Funny to find this on a British website. We could use it almost every day
Just a question though: what is the name of this ball of light in the sky today?
Neat idea. I always leave my umbrellas at the bar or restaurant though, like the second time I use them.
Every single umbrella I have ever had has conspired against me and turned inside out, leaving me drenched. I've now given up on them and just wear my hood up! Looks nice though.
Love the design and all, but I much prefer compact umbrellas with an auto open/close button (Totes) for convenience and memory
The trouble with umbrellas like these are they are never that well made.
Now you guys are promoting other people's merchandise? I thought this was a news site? This is like a leaflet drop.
Give me some news, dammit.
@Rhaoulos
I saw that strange ball of light too. Am steering clear of it. I think it's a trap.
If only botw had an umbrella...I swear it rains 80% of the time in that game!
If umbrellas weren't so immensely impractical, this would actually be nice!
I love it! I’m tempted but I live in LA, where it rarely rains. I’m using the same umbrella I’ve owned since I was 18 and I’m 41 now. Still... cool umbrella.
But does it shoot Ink though? Because Splatoon has really raised the standards of functionality I expect in an umbrella.
Looks nice but I'm confused by the name. Why is it a song of storms umbrella? It doesn't have anything to do with the song on the umbrella! It's not enough that you'll be using it whilst raining (duh) to name it as such.
Looks nice, a little expensive though!
Does it play the song of storms while you use it?
Class
Dude not even a regular umbrella costs that much.
@Rhaoulos You couldn't use it at all, I have a "katana" umbrella & I almost never use it as people are constantly reporting these umbrellas as dangerous weapons. Honestly had British Transport Police ask me not to bring my umbrella on a train.
It's a nice umbrella, wouldn't want to be tazed for carrying it though.
@DanteSolablood I didn't even think of this.
It's a bit expensive for an umbrella and they don't deliver in the UK anyway.
Also my hair don't get wet, it's the advantage of being bald
