Mythical Pokémon Genesect Confirmed for Anniversary Distribution in November

Sad for those who don't have a Gamestop near them. I actually have an extra code for Volcanion.

You're not looking to offload that extra code by any chance?

This sad moment when you live in country without Gamestops, GAME shops etc.

I'm five minutes walk away from Gamestop and I still can't get a code. Apparently they're not supporting this in Ireland at all.

I'll just buy a code off ebay.

Why not just Internet distribution? Not everyone lives in a country or city with these.

Can't wait to pick up Genesect! It's a shame he doesn't come with Blaze Kick, but fortunately he can learn Flamethrower. I think I might pick up an extra code or two for those who can't get one since (I think) this will be the last store distribution for the 20th Anniversary Pokemon.

It would be cool to see the original pokemon that Genesect was before team plasma altered it.

I would be bugged if I would have to go to a GameStop that IS NO LONGER IN PUERTO RICO!!

At least I'm not too far away from GAME. However, these events are still annoying for those that don't live nearby, and distributing it through the internet would be a lot easier.

@ShadowLuigi2 I'm pretty sure Meloetta will be offered for the month of December over Nintendo Network. (Good news for those too far away from a video game retailer!)

Why do these store distributions exist again?

@kickerofelves Yeah, it sucks. I've got a Smyths and a Gamestop within walking distance that have distributed codes in the past.

Yep another one I can't get as there is no GAME in Ireland. Why is there no love for Ireland, Nintendo.

Are these region locked? I'm in the US and managed to get one more code I was having a little competition for (sharing on Reddit) but wasn't sure on that.

Lol, I feel spoiled as I had ALL of these legendaries (except Volcanion of course) legit before this distribution started. Now I have multiple of multiple copiesod every legendary.

I assume they will be doing these distributions for Pokemon Sun and Moon once they're out weird that the code isn't for the upcoming games

Aww. I was looking forward to Meloetta, since she's next i n the Pokedex. She's also the last Pokemon I need for a full Dex. Maybe I'll be able to get Genosect if I end up buying Sun/Moon at the local Gamestop.

Why don't they distribute it through mystery gift?

@-DG Meloetta is coming in December and will be a download. The article makes it sound like this was a new confirmation of Genesect, but the details for the whole year, including distribution method, were actually published back in February.

My hope is that they are doing this one by code so they can do Diancie by download, because that is the only mythical they haven't done this year (at least here in NA)
