UPDATE: It turns out that the release date is actually for North America as well.
Original Story:
A few months back, it was revealed that the adorable Buddy & Me: Dream Edition would be arriving on the Wii U eShop. An enhanced version of a popular endless runner on smart devices, Dream Edition aims to add new features such as additional seasons, updated graphics, and concept art. It all sounds excellent, and it was recently revealed that the game is very rapidly approaching launch.
Sunbreak Games recently posted a new trailer for the game to its Youtube account, revealing that it will be releasing for the eShop on 21st July. No announcement was made for North America, though it would be a bit surprising if a similar window isn't being hit for the region.
What do you think? Will you be picking this up? For those that played it on smart devices, what did you think? Drop us a comment in the section below.

Oh boy..... Thrilling.
that buddy looks like so many other things one of which is the dragon from the never ending story which did end since its still not being continued.
for what it is it looks ok but the face of Buddy... it just dosnt look right to me personly.
I really like the art-style, but the gameplay really doesn't interest me. That, and the buddy kinda creeps me out. Still, I'll wait for a review before finalizing my decision.
Caught that Despicable Me pun. If I'm correct.
@HyrulianOfHyrule Correct! Love that movie.
I could swear Nintendo Life used the same Despicable Me pun in a previous subheading for another article.
Also, the music sounds so much like the Lums from Rayman. The art style is also very similar.
Looks okay but I am not a fan of auto scroll endless running platforming games. I enjoy the few of them in few games but a whole game dedicating to using that concept permanently, that's just not my cup of tea.
@edgedino I've always said Never Ending Story and Final Fantasy should trade names.
Minion memes.
