The final batch of DLC for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & Nintendo 3DS is finally out, bringing with it the Umbra Witch Bayonetta and the dragon warrior Corrin. It's a bittersweet moment for many fans, but no doubt this isn't the end of Super Smash Bros. as we know it.
In the video below we look at both of these new characters as well as Bayonetta's new stage Umbra Clock Tower, so if you're on the fence about whether or not to take the plunge we hope this gives you a clearer indication as to whether one or both of these fighters are worth your time.

Can't wait to download them tomorrow. Bayonetta seems pretty good, but she has very obvious flaws watching this gameplay, while it seems that it's gonna take a while to main Corrin to the fullest, but I'm willing to do it.
sakurai said that bayonetta's bullet arts don't push enemies back, but it looks like they do when they're in the air, and can hold the enemy from advancing when on the ground, unless that was the enemy's doing. and wow is bayonetta vocal. it's like women's tennis with all their grunting. i won't speculate as to why... corrin is vocal too but only noticeable when against a quieter opponent. strangely, corrin male seems to be more the blabbermouth than the female. insert sexist joke here.
@arrjayjee Just buy it!
I love both characters so much. Bayonetta's pretty complex when it comes to do follow-up attacks since you need to time your inputs right. Corrin's neutral Special attack's so damn good! I just hope there won't be TOO many of them out there. I still got love for my Yoshi and Dark Pit
I'll have to wait till Friday to get the DLC. Payday, and I'm also off that day too.
A purchase of Bayonetta DLC is a vote for Bayonetta 3.
'Fly me to the moon, and let me play amongst the stars...'
I don't really think Bayonetta is that amazing. She may have pretty decent combos in her up special combining into things, but she simply can't kill without using her ridiculously punishable Smash Attacks. So I guess I'd call her a mid-tier.
@arrjayjee : I still haven't got Smash Bros, but because of the big bunch of DLC i hope to get a complete edition on NX too.
Just picked them both up, Corrin has been a blast while Bayonetta I'm kinda mixed on. She has some odd move choices, Witch Time has to be the coolest though.
Bayonetta kinda sucks at first impression. She's fun to play though.
Bayo is so fun. Corrin's forward smash is some next level bs.
@4sterr her back air kills, but it's pretty obvious you're supposed to use witch time before a smash
@arrjayjee I'm with you there. On the night of the last Smash Direct I said I was gonna Day 1 this DLC, but as soon as the mere suggestion of a 'complete' set someday has put me off. I don't play much Smash, haven't since I got it, it's more of a long-term investment this game, so I'm in no hurry for the DLC.
It looks like Bayonetta's stage may be tourney legal.
@4sterr But she uses witch time to land them.
I need to download Corrin right away!
I never thought I'd get the chance to play as an androgynous sword-fighting character from the Fire Emblem series!
It feels so weird seeing Bayonetta in Smash, crazy times.
I downloaded Bayonetta last night and really enjoyed playing as her!
After playing as both new characters, I can say I definitely like Corrin. Very interesting moveset. Bayonetta, however, just doesn't impress me. I really like the Clock Tower stage though, which was the majn reason I got that DLC.
