Mewtwo amiibo

Back in July we reported that a Mewtwo amiibo was spotted in the wild, which appeared to drive amiibo collectors and the Internet in general into a bit of a frenzy. If you're in the UK, your time has now come. You can preorder this glorious Mewtwo amiibo today on the Nintendo UK Store for a delivery on or around the 23rd October. It's also available on GAME, though is yet to go up for pre-order on Amazon UK.

Just for kicks, here's the backstory given for this 'mon in its store listing.

Created from modified Mew DNA, Mewtwo was designed to be the ultimate Pokémon. It didn't take on any of Mew's kinder traits and only uses its intelligence to destroy its enemies. Or...so it seems. Perhaps it just feels frightened or even tormented, and that's why it lashes out. Whatever the reason, Mewtwo is not to be messed with.
