A little while ago we shared a delightfully bonkers Japanese preview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, in which the quirky storyline of the game was highlighted for all to enjoy.
A version of that has now been released in English, though it's been edited down in its transition to the West, giving less focus to the utterly bizarre King character who provided the narrative for the Japanese video. It's still three minutes long, however, in which it emphasizes the different power-ups, outfits and stage types on offer, in addition to promoting multiplayer as the key way of playing.
We'll have a preview of the final build with you today, so keep your eyes peeled on Nintendo Life for that.

I prefer the dramatic king in the Japanese video, but this trailer still seems to capture the quirkiness of the game pretty well.
Also, the brief glimpse of the shadow woman vaguely reminds me of Veran from Ages.
Looks fun. Sold!
Online 3-player looks really challenging, I need to pre-order this one. The costumes seemed like the most interesting part.
so its not called hyrule but hytopia? Cool stuff
Miiverse stamps
Download play and a Coliseum? Great!
So why was everyone complaining when this game was announced again?
Watching that trailer, it sure looks promising, especially if you play it with two friends. If I had a 3DS I would buy it.
But what disconcerts and almost disgusts me is that they use the fireflower sound from Mario Bros. when Link throws fire. I don't like it.
I guess this video makes it look sort of fun.
This still looks like a lot of fun to me but the thing that worries me is still the multiplayer part, either how am I going to find 2 other friends who want to play, or how am I going to get 2 people to stay online without disconnecting...
Y'know, I just might get this, afterall.
