Christmas is fast approaching, soon you'll see that Coca-Cola advert on TV, but what better way to get into the festive spirit than a Nintendo polar bear made from 142 pieces of Nintendo gaming history? John Lewis, famed for its lavish Christmas advertisements and decorations, has a new display at its flagship store on Oxford Street in London, where we spotted a very special polar bear.
What makes up a Nintendo polar bear you ask? According to its creator 23 Wii Balance Boards, 9 Wii U GamePads, 48 Wii Wheels, 22 Wii Zappers, 8 Classic controllers, 2 Pro controllers, 4 Wii tennis racquets, 5 Wii consoles and 21 Wii nunchucks.
So, do you want one in your house this Christmas? Better start digging out those old accessories and getting creative, if you do.
Creative Concept & Design: Chameleon Visual, Animal Design Collaboration: Billie Achilleos for Chameleon Visual, Production: Setsquare Staging for Chameleon Visual, at John Lewis Oxford Street, London.

Oh wow! I need one!
Strange to see you writing a news article @antdickens...
@squashie haha, it's been a while...
Nice, definitely want one
Would I sound all doom and gloom to suggest its due to Nintendos near extinction in the console market!?!
Is that a bear? looks more like an AT-AT Walker from Star Wars
Nice, some spare parts now that the Wii is no longer produced !!!
So that's where my Wii balance board went!
@nomeacuerdo When I first saw the picture I thought it looked like an AT-AT Walker from Star Wars too?
It's a shame to see all of those Gamepads in there. But I guess if it sells more Wii U consoles.......
That polar bear looks so cool! Oops, I better freeze before I make more ice puns. I'll just chill over here.
@WingedSnagret - You'd better cool it with those frosty puns, or else you'll have a snowball's chance in summer (ahem) to avoid getting the cold shoulder.
Some have mentioned it already, but even I thought it was an AT-AT. And I'm no Star Wars fan, either. :B
Nintendo meets Coca Cola
Poor controllers! But the design does look nice!
