North American 3DS owners have been enjoying Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers for a good few months now and the game is getting closer to being released in Europe, with NIS America taking on the publishing duties.
Unfortunately, it has been delayed slightly, but only by a week, which is a relief. The RPG was originally scheduled in for a 13th September release but has now been pushed back to 20th September. A downloadable version will also crop up in the eShop the following week on 25th September.
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is a remake of the popular Sega Saturn title, which was released back in 1997. As the title suggests you play as a hacker who must harness the power of demons to defeat enemies in a very cyberpunk world. You can see what we think to it in our Soul Hackers review.
Have a look at the US launch trailer from Atlus below to get a feel for what the game entails and let us know your thoughts on it in the comment section.

The remake looks as if it has lost something from the Saturn.
(The Saturn style layers are exactly the type of thing that I think would look brilliant in 3D).
Usually they use the poor quality Playstation version.
The screenshots of this don't have the same type of character to them.
(I will probably get it anyway. I find older RPG's generally have more effort put into them.)
@Bliquid I've heard it's being released in October...heard that in VGChartz (not the most trustworthy website)
SMTIV will likely be released in November as there are Atlus releases in October and September, leaving November or December is the next logical release window.
Plus no way will they be silly enough to release it in the immediate wake of Pokemon when they already have EO4 preceding it.
But why only seven Days?
What can they do in that time, save the World from the Septentriones?
NOOOOOOOOO! It will be soon but im sure enjoying the series and you guys will too
Good thing it's not Capcom, the week delay would be utterly horrible and cause a 50% decrease in sales and they'd have no choice but to cancel it.
Dammit, i'll rather wait for SMTIV and Devil Survivor 2 for 3DS. From what I've heard its a bit too much of a throwback to the older days.
Is the word 'suffer' necessary?
