If you enjoy your games accompanied by soft, squishable companions, then Natsume has been quite the friend to you. Its pre-order deals in the past have included plush cows, yaks and a range of other critters and it looks set to continue that tradition with more plushie pals.
For Hometown Story, the upcoming game from Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada that places players in the role of a small town shopkeeper, some pre-orders will come with one of two differently colored creatures called Embers.
According to Siliconera, Natsume has confirmed the Green Ember for those who pre-order through GameStop. Where you’ll have to go for the Red Ember has not yet been revealed.
If the Embers look a bit familiar, it may be for good reason as Pokemon illustrator Atsuko Nishida is working on the game.
There has not yet been any word on whether Europe, which will see the game released through Rising Star Games instead of Natsume, will see a similar offer. More information, including release dates for Hometown Story, is expected in the future.
Do you want an Ember in your home? If so, which color? Let us know below.

I want the green one!
I'm from Europe and I definitely want the red one.
the green looks cool but the red one looks super cute
If I had both, I would name the red one Mario and the other one Luigi.
The red one is more pink than red, but I like both anyway.
Is this game going on the eShop?
Both are super adorable especially the green one
Is this pre-order for Europe or North America? (Or Both? o.O)
I want one
I'm gonna say red will be at Target.
I am so interested in this game.
Ohmygod I NEEEEED that blue plushie! He is so adorable!! >W< steals all of them and hoards them into his mountain of plushies Hnnnnng!!!
is this coming to canada? i can't find any canadian websites that have this up for preorders.
I need to get both plushies those are too awesome!
I have New beginning and it feels like to much work. I just wish the harvest moon series had a more relaxing feel to it. I guess you could just say the heck with it and go fishing for the day but you see that timer clicking and it stresses you out
That this game is coming to North America must've slipped by me somehow.
