Recent weeks and months have brought a mixture of good and bad news for those hoping to see Wii U join in with various big-budget multi-platform titles. Of course, developers face the challenge not just to make adjustments to the Wii U hardware, but also to make use of the Wii U GamePad capabilities.
It seems we have one more title to add to the list making the jump to Wii U, upcoming FPS release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, with an ESRB rating listing Nintendo's new system as a platform. It's a title that uses CryEngine 3 visuals, which reinforces comments from Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli earlier this summer that CryEngine 3 "runs beautifully" on Wii U.
The title is set to arrive on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on 15th January, but there's no confirmation as yet on Wii U release details. In light of the aiming mechanics shown on the GamePad in titles such as ZombiU, it'll be interesting to see what approach the developer takes with controls.
Is this a game that interests you?

I don't even know what this game is.
I'll be sure to look into it as release gets closer if it's anything good though.
I don't see mention of Wii U on that listing, I guess it was removed.
Sounds interesting.
It's a bush!!
Hm...
You know what a sniper sim game is exactly the kind of game I think could use the Wii U tablet for enhancing the game play.
I would get the Wii U version of this if they realise the potential there. Given the dubious quality of the first game though, I doubt it.
Sounds good
Why would you want to snipe, when you can shoot someone with a machine gun?
In the face of "epic"ness.
Nope, rated M, so I'm not interested. Why can't more FPSes tone down the violence to a T rating like Goldeneye, the Conduit games, the Metroid Prime games, and Onslaught (on WiiWare)?
