Hudson recently announced plans to release the next iteration in its Deca Sports series (known as Sports Island in the UK), Deca Sports 3. According to its press release, Hudson is including Wii MotionPlus support for all ten games, which may pique the interest of those unfamiliar with the series.
As you may expect, twenty sports after the original's debut, this collection has players competing in a variety of relatively obscure events. The list of ten games includes springboard diving, indoor volleyball, giant slalom, racquetball, air racing, kayaking, lacrosse, logging, halfpipe and fencing. Their website tells us that four of the ten titles – volleyball, lacrosse, racquetball and fencing – will be available for online competition.
If you’re a fan of odd sports and have been on the lookout for new games with Wii MotionPlus support, you may want to check this one out when Hudson releases it in the Fall. Until then, satiate your thirst with the all-new trailer, located at the bottom of this article.

Meh, i'll just stick to Wii sports or Wii Sports Resort if I ever decide to pick it up.
What do you know? Maybe this will actually be good. Yeah, I might pick this one up.
Wait, lacrosse? Sweet. Wait, online lacrosse? Awesome. If this turns out good I'll pick it up.
The Hit Sport Series........Bursts out laughing
Aw come on. Why can't they have regular tennis with MotionPlus?
One of the better sports/mini-game compilations, but still not a very good series thusfar!
Then again wiimotionplus volleyball, air racing etc hmmmmm...........
Wasn't Deca Sports 2 actually considered WORSE than the original? Can't say I have high hopes of 3rd time being the charm.
Who knows? Maybe Hudson can finally give us a decent DECA Sports game. I'm only interested in this because of MotionPlus.
I rented the deca sports 2 game from gamefly, returned it within' 5 minutes or less...absolutely horrible
