MADWORLD, is an inventive third-person action game exclusively for Wii. Produced by Atsushi Inaba, MADWORLD has a unique black and white style, depicting an incredibly sharp backdrop that straddles graphic novels and 3D worlds. As players battle opponents, they must master the use of various weapons and items found within their environment, such as chainsaws and street signs, while entertaining sports commentary adds to the third-person gameplay. With its irreverent humour and over-the-top violence, MADWORLD will deliver a unique core gaming experience currently missing on the Wii system.
Good news for the US, sadly no confirmation on a European date just yet. Our sources at SEGA are still offering a very loose "March... ish" response, therefore we're expecting the game to slip to late March early April at the earliest.
We'll be getting our grubby hands on preview version of MadWorld next week, naturally we'll share all the gory details soon after, until then, don't have nightmares!

I normally don't like first person shooters, but this looks very cool.
^ I normally don't like first person shooters, but this looks very cool. Wait what? This is a 3rd person action game. I'm not sure why there's so much hype for this game. We already have a ridiculously violent action game for the Wii, No More Heroes. I am LOVIN' the graphic style, however.
There's violent, and then there's MadWorld That should be their tagline...
Looks amazing, fantastic pedigree, won't even hit the top twenty. Guaranteed.
It's a shame the Wii can't do HD else this game might actually look great Personally I'm more concerned over the controls, gameplay etc, it's had ALOT of attention on its visuals, but next to nothing on control, time will tell.
I stand corrected. Thanks Nintendork.
This does look excellent. but the only thing I'm concerned with is distinguishing different objects in black and white. I'm not too excited myself, but for those that are, this is great news.
@Wiiloveit, are you excited by anything?
If you have the Wii component cables, you get to play in 480p HD, which is a lot better than nothing.
@pHaT-aNt: I couldn't be more excited than I already am for the next Sin & Punishment game, and I can't wait to get my hands on WiiWare games such as Onslaught, Eduardo The Samurai Toaster, Pop Up Pirate (no, really), Liight and Bit.Trip:Beat. I also really want the DSi, but yeah, there are some games that I really want.
@LTTF: Exactly - if you've got a Component compatible telly and you don't use the cable, then the picture on your Wii will be very disappointing and a big let down in comparison. Since I got a component cable, all my blur issues were gone and I've never looked back.
