We compile this list using the USA region Wii Shop channel, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.
Keep in mind that the list below is a measure of actual sales made recently, not of the total time the game has been available for sale.
Here is the list for the 29th of October:

20 (17) - Strong Bad Episode 2 - Strong Badia the Free
N denotes a new entry
Perhaps there is no surprise that Tetris Party managed to dethrone the World of Goo, but it’s hard to be sore as it is a mighty fine game too. The top 3 is looking pretty tasty!
The same cannot be said about 6th and 7th places this week, Midnight Bowling and The Incredible Maze are best avoided in our opinion.
Strong Bad Episode 3 sneaked in at 12th place, but it seems Episode 2 is already on its way out. Could gamers be tiring of the series already? There is no sign of Art Style: Rotohex yet, but we are confident that this will change by next week.
This week’s losers are Midnight Pool and Cocoto Fishing Master. May you rest in peace.

Huh, WoG's reign was short
dude the 3 best games are duking it out to be #1
this is an awesome war!
2D boy vs CAPCOM vs Hudson
"This week's losers are Midnight Bowling and Cocoto Fishing Master. May you rest in peace."
Midnight's Bowling's at #6. It must've resurrected as a zombie that clawed it's way to the top 10 by eating the brains of the other 14 games (though it didn't get much from PT and TIM. Heeheehee).
Perhaps you mean Midnight Pool?
Anyway, now's time for my weekly chart synopsis:
YES! I knew Tetris Party would eventually overthrow WoG in the #1 spot! The power of Tetris shall never be underestimated. It's a bit unfortunate to see the first two entries of the SB series so close to the bottom, even though the series still hasn't interested me much. And I'm shocked and appalled to see The Intolerable Maze on the list at all, much less the top 10. Just goes to show that people will buy ANYTHING cheap, even if it looks like it belongs on Windows '98.
I wonder where Alien Crush will fall when it arrives on Wii Ware?
This is the Swedish top 20, back by popular demand... Yeah, whatever...

(14) 20 - Strong Bad Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free
We week we make note of that:
*Mega Man 9 managed to hold off Tetris Party in order to stay in first for its 5th straight week.
*Tetris Party on the other hand is our highest newcomer, entering at 2nd.
*After 22 weeks on the chart, LostWinds finally does what one can expect of it and... climbs to 5th? Yeah, I've stopped trying to make sense of this game's ups and downs.
*Helix is no longer stuck in 4th, drops 2 spots to 6th place. Still very impressive.
*In 9th we find our second newcomer and all I have to say is that game (the physical version you know) wasn't even fun in kindergarden. So why?! Yeah, The Incredible Maze is in 9th...
*My Pokémon Ranch climbs up to 13th place this week and is with that the biggest climber of the week. Seems it's doomed to bob up and down between 12-17th place for all eternity.
*Just below, Midnight Pool (4), Cocoto Fishing Master (5) and SPOGS Racing (4) are all registering significant drops and might very well leave us in the coming weeks. However, none of them did the worst this week.
*But before we get to that we have our final newcomer in 18th place. I was sure Home Sweet Home would resonate more with the Sims crowd, the graphics just screams Sims 1, but apparently it ain't doing so well. Not that I really care, I rather dislike the building part of the Sims and thus would probably dislike this aswell if I tried it, but I did expect it to do better.
*I also would like to note that Pirates: The Key of Dreams is still charting. Quite impressive since 5 weeks ago it had dropped out and yet in the past three weeks have been stagnant around 19th place, which in itself is a feat seeing how turbulent that region is in general. I bet there's some Overboard nostalgia going on there.
*Anyway, time for the dud of the week and for the second time in a row a Strong Bad game is the biggest faller. This week it's the 2nd episode that drops a big 6 places from 14th to 20th. Seems like the hype is fading fast for this series.
*Dropping out this week is Star Soldier R, Potpourrii and Strong Bad Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner. All of them were pretty much expected. Star Soldier R has in a way been overperforming these past few weeks while Potpourrii goes the way of all the other puzzlers of late and after Strong Bad fell freely into last place last week, little else than dropping out completely was to expect from the game with 3 new games being released.
This Friday is expected to be only for VC releases and thus things will probably stay fairly the same next week. But considering the amount of games in the pipeline right now, this bi-weekly release schedule could change at any moment so who knows.
What the hell UK? Mega Man 9 in 11TH! Explain yourself!!!
Just got Bomberman Blast yesterday- its a great game! Deserves its spot. Now i have to rant:
WHY CANT TETRIS PARTY BE 1000 POINTS?!?! AHHHH!
I wish I could get both with a 2000 point card..
@Mr. Cheez - Midnight Bowling, Pool, Resistance, at the oasis! It's all the same to me! lol
Fixed now!
@Ddhwhrcfbgrynoerfadohnfcahncfahfabh: Mega Man has never really been popular round here. At least a lot of us bought it on release day when it shot up to number 1 at lightning speed.
It's a shame that HSH isn't in the top ten though - it's really not that bad!
World of Goo number 2 wha...
http://gonintendo.com/?p=61012
That list must be from a few hours ago and look where World of Goo is...
Very cunning Tetris, very cunning...
I'm pleased to see someone posted the UK chart as I forgot to view it while I was on my Wii earlier today
@Wiiloveit
Come on, it's not that hard. Just a D followed by "jungle" but spelled phonetically if I put it like that and then "urban" like sub-urban if you prefer (although it's not a reference to that). Really, it's not very difficult at all.
And how come Mega Man ain't popular? I mean, it seems atleast decently popular in the rest of the PAL region so what's so particular about the UK... Maybe if there's a Football Man (that would be Soccer Man for our US friends) in the sequel things would change.
@Starwolf_UK
Don't worry, from now on if no one posts the UK chart I'll back up for it. I'm already doing that for the Aussie (I don't have any Wii points right now anyway) and the German charts (just haven't bothered to post them) so if needed I could cover the UK charts in those rare cases where no one else has.
@D-jungle-urban (I did it): no idea. Maybe he was planning on killing Prince Charles. No, wait - planning on keeping Prince Charles alive.
@Starfox_UK: That someone was me: Wiiloveit. Not WiiloveitOnline. Wiiloveit.
And the list you quote was added at around 9am. So... who copied whose Wii Shop Charts idea? GoNintendo or WWW?
WHY IS MADSTONE NOT ON THIS LIST??????
Well, it's close enough atleast...
Wow, the top 5 is finally beyond decent
@D: It had better be...
@Breaderer: Savant mode scared everyone away.
Wow I'm surprised Rotohex didn't show up anywhere in the Top 20. I guess these Art Style games are slow climbers. or maybe they're releasing them too close together.
@Wiiloveit - The list GoNintendo quoted was done earlier in the day I guess, we check the Wii shop for ourselves. Tetris must have just creeped ahead, oh well World of Goo held out as long as it could at least!
I gathered that much. Were you aiming your point more at Starwolf_UK (whom I keep calling Starfox - sorry SW; force of habit)?
It seems to me that the reason for the Strong Bad games falling off the charts may have more to do with storage space than anything else. I bought and loved the first one, but with new releases like World of Goo, the Art Style series, and Tetris Party I find it hard to get rid of them to make room for a Strong Bad game that is most likely identical to the one that I have already played. Maybe that's just me, but I plan on waiting until they fix up my storage issues before owning all of them. And by then, there might be so many other good games that I never go back and get them. I hope Telltale Games is listening, and I hope that they are as disappointed with Nintendo as we all are when it comes to storage. If other customers are anything like me, then there are A LOT of WiiWare games that are not being downloaded due to this issue.
@DJ: I don't think people are that bothered about a few extra blocks when buying a new game. It's more likely due to the fact that the PC games are cheaper / on offer (this Halloween you get a free Sam & Max game) and the fact that he's unknown to your average WW user.
That's probably true, but I personally would have a problem if I owned all three episodes and could not have them all on my dash at the same time, or if I did, then I would not have much room left for any of my other WiiWare games. Then again, I am one of those crazy people who never throws away anything that comes with a game I purchase, and I still own dozens of Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and N64 games with their boxes and manuals. So I am a little nutty that way
TOP20 29.OCT - Brazil

19(17): Gyrostarr
20(NN): Strong Bad Episode 3 - Baddest of the Bands
Strong Bad barely made into the top20 here! Dr. Mario Online Rx and Pirates: The key of Dreams gets kicked out of the top. It surprise me that Dr. Mario didn't hold up around here...
I'm sad that WoG fell a spot so fast, especially since I made a special effort to get it in the first week.
World of Goo deserves that top spot still, it's the best WiiWare game so far...!
Eh, it's getting hard to concentrate on these charts now with all these other games out. When all the launch titles are gone, that'll be a crazy week.
@Scrent: You guys don't like SB do ya? At least Rotohex made it in though.
@Objection_Blaster: Maybe almost everyone got it in the first week and it has still managed to sell more than TP. We need proper sales numbers to be truly accurate about these things.
Why is My Aquarium anywhere in the Top 10? WWWHHHHYYYY?!
Good to see Cubello just barely squeak in the Top 10. Three of the best games currently available on WiiWare are rightly in their proper trifecta of ownage: 1, 2, 3.
"Why is My Aquarium anywhere in the Top 10? WWWHHHHYYYY?!'
Come on now it's not that bad
And yes it is a shame Madstone has not cracked the list. I think there is a lot of competition with puzzle games.
RE: My Aquarium: because it's cheap and it appeals to casual gamers
@slambert215:
Bomberman Blast is so much frantic fun...
I'm sad that WoG fell a spot so fast, especially since I made a special effort to get it in the first week.
To be fair it was still at number 1 a few hours before WiiWare World logged into the shop channel and took the stats...
I am shocked that My Aquarium is doing so well ?-) ~ Cubello should be higher up on the list ~
Tetris Party is worth the top spot in the US though, I love it! ~
Wiiloveit:
What can I say? I didn't have heard of SB until the game announcement. And I have be thinking it was a TV show until Djungelurban pointed me out it is a Web show. Maybe it's not our kind of humor... I have yet to check it out.
"My Pokémon Ranch" is #11? I must take action!
/wall-staples My Pokémon Ranch to its current position/
The Amazing Maze was very convincing in attracting customers, even though the game itself is, according to you, not as good.
The Amazing Maze was very convincing in attracting customers, even though the game itself is, according to you, not as good.
I think there are two reasons for it:
1. 500 Wii points.
2. The Incredible Maze sounds alot like The Incredible Machine don't you think...
Tony: I take it that you also downloaded madstone?
Breader: I just thought to say this, but congrats on beating savant mode in madstone.
Anyone else have this game? I'm curious how many people have it.
I'm gonna get MadStone soon, along with World of Goo.
I'm anxiously awaiting Pong Toss's exit from the top 20. Sigh, I guess we'll be stuck with Midnight Bowling and Incredible Maze for a while (I'm guessing 50% of Incredible Maze's sales can be solely attributed to its use of the word "Incredible" to describe it, and the other 50% to its price.) But at least watching the sales of My Pokemon Ranch steadily fall makes me feel all giddy inside.
@ longtimegamer
Not yet but I have been thinking about it. I really like the visual style of the game. Right now I have a backlog of games to finish but Madstone might be mine in the future.
@ Tony
Same with me. I recently got my first games in a LONG time - Boom Blox, Okami and de Blob - and with college midterms finally over, I'm currently occupied for a while.
@ deadbattery
You are awesome for getting Boom Blox, Okami and deBlob.
Too many poeple over look the quality 3rd party games on Wii.
I actually only own 3rd party Wii games (disc based-wise) with the exceotion of Brawl. Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, Boom Blox, Okami, Guitar Hero 3 and Geometry Wars Galaxies.
I believe in supporting 3rd parties 'cause I want more
qualitysupport from them.I'm surprised the Art Style games aren't doing better; Pong Toss has got to go soon.
@Stratos- Too good for Galaxy, are you? I'm all for 3rd party support, but all told, Nintendo has always produced the best games for their systems. I still plan on getting Okami and deBlob if their shelf life lasts long enough for me to get some money/until Christmas. I already have NMH and GH3, and I plan on getting Rock Band 2. I refuse to support garbage like the cut-down version we (Wii) were offered of Rock Band 1, and if RB2 outsells it, maybe they'll get the message.
