Pokemon Pokopia Switch 2 - Pre-order
Image: Nintendo Life

Pokémon Pokopia launched on Switch 2 on Friday 5th March 2026, bringing a life-sim flavour to the Pocket Monster world as you play a human-looking Ditto building a town, chatting with fellow Pokémon, and generally enjoying a cosy, colourful, crop-harvesting life.

It's been very warmly received by critics, and we awarded it an 8/10 in our review, calling it "the freshest Pokémon experience in a long time, bursting at the seams with charm and content that rewards both curiosity and creativity."

Where to Buy Pokémon Pokopia

Here is a selection of retailers with assorted deals, plus any bonuses they're offering.

In the UK, My Nintendo Store has your choice of a tote bag, a travel bag, or a reusable mug as pre-order options. Pre-orders also came with an in-game Ditto rug that can be claimed until 31st January 2027, although Nintendo also makes it clear that the "item is also obtainable through normal gameplay."

In the US, you can get a tote bag from Best Buy, and a code for an in-game Flat Leaf Plant from Amazon in the US and Best Buy in Canada. The Pokémon Center website also has a physical Ditto Sitting Cutie Plush offer.

Buy Pokémon Pokopia with eShop Credit

This being a Game-Key Card 'physical' release, you're not going to be saving space on your Switch 2 by buying digital, so if you decide to go full digital and need some eShop credit, we've got you covered.

The digital version is also cheaper in the UK - £58.99 versus £66.99 for the Game-Key Card.

Just make sure to apply the credit to the account you're using to purchase the game/upgrade!
