Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest adventure in the Pokémon franchise, this time bringing with it a whole new open world, new catching mechanics and more.

While the deep mysteries of Hisui, and which Pokémon you’re going to encounter, are left for you to solve, there are a few big changes from classic Pokémon games that might take some getting used to. As you begin your journey, you may notice your bag filling up slightly quicker than you’d like.

How to increase your bag size in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends Arceus is a very item-heavy game. You’re constantly picking things up from the ground, from Pokémon you capture, and not to mention a large number of crafting items required for Poké Balls and other essentials.

Thankfully, there’s a way to upgrade your bag. However, it’s not too cheap.

Head to Galaxy Hall

In Jubilifle Village you’ll find Galaxy Hall, the main building in the area, where you’ll report your findings, and your progress on the Pokédex. Just outside the captain’s room, there will be a character wearing a hat and red robes. He’ll offer to expand your bag for you.

Be warned, however, these expansions don't come cheap, and while your first few hits are practically free, you’ll be spending a lot of your limited budget upgrading the bag if you’re not careful.

Our advice is to make use of the chests that are present at every campsite in the world. There you can store old items you’re not going to use, or even things you plan to sell when you get back to camp and are ready to craft more Poké Balls.

You don’t need absolutely infinite space in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but it might be worth buying 5 or so upgrades to get started, just so you’re not constantly frustrated by leaving items behind, especially if they happen to be rare evolution items.
