Mario Kart World: 'Snow Region' Collectibles - DK Pass, Sky-High Sundae, Starview Peak

The coldest region of Mario Kart World is full of adorable penguins, death-defying slopes, and cheeky ice cream treats. That's right, we're high up the mountains in the Snow Region, the eastern part of Mario Kart World's Free Roam map.

It might seem like the collectibles are buried in the snow here, but don't worry, we're hereto help you uncover all of the P Switch Missions and Peach Medallions in-between DK Pass, Sky-High Sundae, and Starview Peak. There's a lot, so bring those spiked tires!

P Switch Missions - 'Snow Region'

It's easy to get lost in the ice-cold mountains of Mario Kart World, but between the ski slopes of DK pass and the starry sights of Starview Peak, there's so many lovely sights to see and collectibles to pick up, so why not use us as a guide?

Have a look at the map up top, then you can prepare yourself to slide down the slopes and pick up some treats along the way. With 40 buttons to hit, you're going to need to bring the thermals!

All Snow Region P Switches

Mission 1

Mission: "Grab blue coins as snowballs descend the slopes!"

Location: At the bottom of the slalom slopes just north of the DK Pass course on the map

Mission 2

Mission: "Clear the path with some fireballs!"

Location: Just in front of the Mario Kart sign at the entrance of the snowy area from the Coastal Region.

Mission 3

Mission: "Grab the blue coins between Frost Piranha attacks!"

Location: East of DK Pass, follow the roads to find this on the side of the road between two trees

Mission 4 (DK Pass)

Mission: "Race through the empty stands to the goal!"

Location: Above the finish line at DK Pass, in the stands where the crowd is during a Grand Prix

Mission 5 (DK Pass)

Mission: "Drop into the Shy Guy snowboarding competition!"

Location: On the east side of DK Pass behind some cliffs

Mission 6

Mission: "Collect blue coins along the Snow Pokeys!"

Location: In the mountain lodge area northwest of DK Pass, just off the path

Snow P Switch 7

Mission: "Tackle the chilly course on the lake!"

Location: At the south end of the lake at the entrance to the snow area, on top of a rock

Mission 8 (DK Pass)

Mission: "C-c-c-collect the blue coins at DK Pass!"

Location: On top of the first elevated platform by the DK Pass finish line

Mission 9 (DK Pass)

Mission: "Prove yourself in a SPECIAL test of skill #5"

Location: On top of the second elevated platform by the DK Pass finish line

Mission 10

Mission: "Watch for the snowball hazards ahead!"

Location: At the bottom of the slope leading to the Vanilla Lake tribute (marked by multicoloured walls)

Mission 11

Mission: "Race around a tribute to Vanilla Lake!"

Location: On the east side of the Vanilla Lake tribute (marked by multicoloured walls)

Mission 12

Mission: "Gather blue coins while penguins put on a parade!"

Location: Just ahead of the above P Switch, off the racecourse

Mission 13

Mission: "Mind the wind on the way to the goal!"

Location: Southwest of Sky-High Sundae, in the mountain area, on the edge of a cliff

Mission 14

Mission: "Hurry to the frozen peak!"

Location: Do the above P Switch, and this will be on the snowy plateau at the end

Mission 15 (Sky-High Sundae)

Mission: "Perform a bold escape through the ice-cream ravine!"

Location: Right by a small waffle ramp on the course, in front of a pink ice cream wall

Mission 16 (Sky-High Sundae)

Mission: "Time your mushroom to bust through to the goal!"

Location: Follow the yellow path at the intersection on the course, head past a ? Panel, and find the Switch at the top of the ramp

Mission 17 (Starview Peak)

Mission: "Put the pedal to the metal! Go, go, go!"

Location: Just to the right of the entrance to the observatorium

Mission 18 (Starview Peak)

Mission: "Soar high above the slopes!"

Location: At the start of Starview Peak, drop down the front part of the course to land on a snowy platform where the P Switch is.

Mission 19

Mission: "Brave the unfinished shortcut!"

Location: Follow the icy paths south of Starview Peak to find this P Switch in the snow on a curved path.

Tips: You'll probably fail this one a lot as it requires you to Jump Charge, Wall Ride, then jump safely over a huge gap, land on a thin path, and charge/wall ride again. Our tip is to use a light character and vehicle for a little extra height when jumping.

Mission 20

Mission: "Boost through a rugged cross-country route!"

Location: On the snowy path just below Starview Peak to the southeast.

Mission 21

Mission: "Race against the icy avian assault!"

Location: On the snowy section right after completing P Switch 19, it's next to some halfpipes.

Mission 22

Mission: "Show off rail tricks while gathering blue coins!"

Location: Next to the railway tracks in the far northwest corner of the snow region grind south to the Fall Region

Mission 23

Mission: "Sail through the sky and rush to the goal!"

Location: Right next to the Yoshi's diner on the border between the snow region and Cheep Cheep Falls

Mission 24

Mission: "Weave past Frost Piranha attacks for blue coins!"

Location: Southeast of Starview Peak, you'll need to drive through the snowy, off-road sections to reach this one, which overlooks the icy pathway to the course.

Mission 25 (Starview Peak)

Mission: "Loop around the observatory and grab blue coins!"

Location: On the highest outer ring of Starview Peak.

Tips: To get here, you need to race through the course until you reach the second bend of the yellow-and-blue road. Then drop off to the left side, enter the pipe, and then use the boost ramp from the top of the tower to aim your landing on the first ring.

Mission 26 (Starview Peak)

Mission: "Watch out for attacks from Ice Bros!"

Location: On the second, lower outer ring of Starview Peak.

Tips: Follow the steps for Mission 25, then drop down to the next ring from the first one.

Mission 27 (Sky-High Sundae)

Mission: "Reach the top of the rotating ice-cream cone!"

Location: At Sky-High Sundae, if you drop off the right-hand side of the course as you come to the blue and yellow split, then follow the road after the pipe, you'll see this button next to some strawberry slices.

Mission 28

Mission: "Crash through traffic to reach the slopes!"

Location: Starting at DK Pass, head to the log cabin area to the west of the track, and drive around the lake to the western side. As you approach a wooden board slope, you'll see the P Switch.

Mission 29

Mission: "Squeeze through traffic jams to reach the goal!"

Location: You'll want to follow the roads off of DK Pass to the northeast, until you reach a Yoshi's diner with an intersection — one is more tarmac road, while the other is a dirt path. Head off to the right to the dirt road, and keep driving down to find this P Switch on the snow.

Mission 30

Mission: "Show your skill by gliding a really long way!"

Location: Head to the ski log cabin village and head up to the cliffs just above the north side of the houses to grab this button.

Mission 31

Mission: "Hustle up and down to gather the blue coins!"

Location: Once again, this one's by the ski log cabins, but you'll want to head slightly north to find this button next to the DK Pass barriers.

Mission 32

Mission: "Slalom downhill and scoop up the blue coins!"

Location: Follow the slalom slopes north of DK Pass and stick to the left side of the course, where you will eventually find this P Switch at the top.

Mission 33

Mission: "Take some Green Shells for luck!"

Location: Start from Starview Peak and drop to the level below. Follow the left path to the icy roads suspended above the slopes (a cloud is blowing wind on the right side). Keep following he road until you find a Switch just after a ramp with two flags on it.

Mission 34

Mission: "Slice through ice-skating practice!"

Location: From DK Pass, drive through the underground tunnel roads and, as you come out at the end, head straight ahead towards the icy road section leading to Sky-High Sundae. You'll see your prize on the left just over the first ramp

Mission 35

Mission: "Hitch a ride on the train to reach the goal!"

Location: Head towards the lake in the southwest corner of the map and follow the road around it until you reach an intersection. Take the left road up the snowy hill and follow until you reach train tracks. Follow them right towards a bridge leading to Cheep Cheep Falls for the Switch.

Mission 36

Mission: "Power past Fuzzies while gathering blue coins!"

Location: Follow the road around the south of the lake all the way to the Yoshi's drive-thru, and take the left road a the intersection. Hop onto the train tracks going up and grind all the way until you see the button.

Tips: Rewind won't save you here if you get hit! Instead, try to time your jumps so you flip just as you approach the Fuzzies. This will take a few tries, so don't panic. If you're really struggling, take some Green Shells.

Mission 37

Mission: "Join the snowballs in a race downhill"

Location: We got to this one from Starview Peak, but you can reach it from DK Pass. From Starview, drop all the way down to the snow slalom section and race to the cable wires (where you'll find two Peach coins). This switch will be close to the wires on the right, next to the Mario Kart banner.

Mission 38

Mission: "Scale the slippery slope to reach the goal!"

Location: At Starview Peak, drop down and follow the right road to the icy path. Pass the two clouds and then, over the ramp, follow the left ice road. Keep going to find the Switch.

Mission 39

Mission: "Use the Mushrooms to blitz to the station!"

Location: This one's on the snowy road after the ice roads. Again, drop to the right of Starview Peak and follow the road to the slope. Go down the right path and you'll see the switch after the bend.

Mission 40

Mission: "Grab all the snowman's blue coins!"

Location: After you've completed Snow Mission 39, turn around from the station and follow the road slightly north towards a campsite full of Toads and, handily, a P Switch on the rock

Peach Medallions - Snow Region

Buttons aren't the only thing you'll be pressing in the Snow region. Can you press a medallion...? Well, nevermind. But You will find plenty of them alongside P Switch Missions, so we're done the hard work for you and seeked many of them out.

You can see where every Peach coin is above, but for the less curious, have a little scroll and see just exactly how to get every coin. There are 18 coins in total to collect here, so let's get to it!

All Snow Region Peach Medallion Locations

Medallion 1 (Sky-High Sundae)

Location: Right after the start line, you'll see an ice cream with a hole in it. Glide through the hole for the Medallion

Medallion 2 (Starview Peak)

Location: Inside the observatorium, grind on the right rails to grab this.

Tips: You'll need to come at this from the gliding section towards the end of the course, so drive through as normal and follow the path. Use rewind because the angle is tricky to nail. We did try with a Feather, but we couldn't get it to work!

Medallion 3 (DK Pass)

Location: On the ski wires directly linking Starview Peak and DK Pass (right-hand side from the mountain top)

Medallion 4 (DK Pass)

Location: On the opposite ski wires to Medallion 3, directly linking Starview Peak and DK Pass

Medallion 5

Location: On one of the wooden ski lodge roofs, which is just to the west of DK Pass

Medallion 6 (Starview Peak)

Location: At Starview Peak, drop down and drive to the right of the ice area outside of the observatorium. Look over the left cliff as you approach the ice road to see the Peach coin (see image above, in the distance). Just drop down and drive up to it.

Medallion 7 (Starview Peak)

Location: Inside the upper layer of the observatorium. To get there, follow the course until you reach the second yellow and blue bend, then drop off to the left to land in a green area with a globe. Using a Feather, jump up onto the globe to grab the Peach coin.

Medallion 8 (Starview Peak)

Location: At the start of Starview Peak, drop down to the lower level then follow the road to the left, then turn right towards the ice path. Drop down to the left here, and you'll land next to a small raised path under the bridge, with a coin at the end.

Medallion 9

Location: Head to the train station west of Starview Peak, which you can reach by following the icy roads to the right of the course. Eventually, you'll pass a campsite on a ledge. The Medallion is right here, on top of a rock next to the tents.

Medallion 10

Location: On top of a snowy plateau just southwest of Starview Peak.

Tips: This is tricky to get! You'll need to follow the ice roads right of the course, then when you approach the second cloud, use a boost (or Charge Jump) to launch yourself off of the road to the left, just past a star rod. Trick, and land on the Snow Pokey plateau, who are guarding the coin

Medallion 11

Location: Right outside of Sky-High Sundae on the tip of a snowy peak overlooking the course from a distance.

Tips: You actually want to drive from Starview Peak, and follow the left icy roads below the course to reach this. Ideally, drop off the left side of the road after the Ty-foo cloud enemies and land on the snowy mountains. Just keep dropping until you hit a mountain that looks like a curved peak

Medallion 12 (Sky-High Sundae)

Location: Drive through Sky-High Sundae until you reach the pink and green split. Take the pink side, and jump off the left to some small pink ramps. On the second ramp, trick into a wall ride on the left-hand wall, then jump and trick again so you land on the rail on the second wall, where the coin is.

Medallion 13

Location: This coin is in the centre of the Vanilla Lake tribute to the southwest of Sky-High Sundae, which you'll need to Charge Jump to get to.

Medallion 14 (DK Pass)

Location: At DK Pass, turn around and then follow the course up the ramps until you reach the top of the slope. When you see some wooden panels and a wooden ramp, head right past them, then jump over the small gap with the booster to get this coin

Medallion 15 (DK Pass)

Location: Turn around at DK Pass' starting line, then drive all the way to the top of the slope. Follow the road until you reach a lodge next to the train station, then do a u-turn and go up the metal staircase to reach the top of the course under the DK Pass sign. The coin is just sitting on the boost ramp.

Medallion 16 (DK Pass)

Location: If you just grabbed coin 15, then you can get this by driving from the train station towards a series of rocky plateaus, with a coin on top of a rock on the third biggest.

Tips: Don't be afraid to use a Mushroom to get into a Wall Ride here.

Medallion 17

Location: Head to the ski lodge resort to the left of DK Pass and head to an area with a campfire and lots of trees; look up for two snowmen, where the coin is sitting right in between.

Medallion 18

Location: Head to the lake in the southwest corner of the region and drive along the road around the south. When you reach the train tracks, cross over them and you'll see the Medallion a top a power line, which you'll need to grind from the other direction (as the ground turns orange)
