Review Super Kirby Clash - Monster Hunter Meets The Cute Pink Puffball
And it's free to play, to boot
When Kirby: Planet Robobot launched in 2016, one of the sub-games included was a neat little RPG-lite take on a boss rush mode called Team Kirby Clash. A year later, HAL opted to expand on the concept further in a free-to-play release on the 3DS eShop called Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, which added in several more bosses,...

Update: New codes have been added and old codes shifted to the 'expired' section. This game is much better than it's predecessors. It has micro transactions, yes. But there are many more ways to get Gem Apples. (The currency available for purchase)
On top of Gem Apples being much more easy and fair to get, the time limits that used to plague the game's difficulty have been drastically elongated. Making the game even more fair and make you not have to use as many Gem Apples as the previous one. This game still provides much more of a challenge than Star Allies, but it isn't as unfair as Kirby Clash Deluxe, (The previous game) which practically forced you to pay to get anywhere in the game without impossible difficulty. If you're still saying "What about vigor!?" (The game's form of "stamina", needed to play quests and is limited.) Vigor is still a bad idea, but even it's effect on the game is weakened. How? Online Multiplayer. There are two separate Vigor bars. One for story mode, the primary game, and another for party mode. Basically the same game, but more so focused on Local or Online multiplayer. Vigor can be recharged by leveling up, and Party mode gives you EXP. Meaning that if you run out of story mode Vigor, you can replenish it all be leveling up in party mode. This basically removes Vigor. I never have to wait or use gem apples to get Vigor at all anymore. I'm very happy about the changes made from the previous game. This is a super fun game and the online multiplayer is a fantastic addition.
@NuclearNyt,
That's a pretty nice review you wrote there! I agree with your points, I also find it pretty fun (even if I don't like free to play and I would rather see a proper new retail Kirby). Its a pretty easy game though, the 3DS-one was much harder. I love the graphics, there's new and remixed music, and seeing Nightmare finally again (in 3D) is awesome. The game has 900 (?!) missions. If you want to achieve them all, it will take ages. Gem-apples might still be a problem down the road, so lets see how long it will interest me. Of course I will never buy gem-apples, that's just insane.
