News You'd Be Forgiven For Thinking 'Comix Zero' Is A Sequel To A Mega Drive Classic

About The Game
Players need to physically “break through” the boundaries between the sides of the panels and take down enemies who lose colour instead of health. Zero might be in the fight of his life, but he takes it all in his stride with the timely use of adult humour and Deadpool-style quips as he slays his way through across each page.Comix Zero brings together an active open world ripe for exploration, a meticulously-crafted role-playing mechanic, and a dynamic story with sudden changes in events.
The game’s aesthetic harkens back to the ‘dark fantasy’ themes made popular in the early 2000s, mixing the immediacy of Comix Zone with the meticulous attack pattern requirements of modern Soulslike games such as Elden Ring.
Zero is an unsuspecting hero-in-the-making from Earth, who is inadvertently spirited away to a vicious, mythical world populated by ancient gods and ruled by merciless slavers. His plan is simple: save the world, win back his wife’s heart, return to Earth.
In this role you’ll appreciate a beautiful, but unforgiving open world, overcome a multitude of opponents in epic battles and uncover many secret places as you leap between the pages of each comic landscape.
