Topic: Worms Battle Islands

Who's going to get it? I've been talking to one of the inside people, said keep our fingers cross for next month. Going to try to keep it as a Worldwide release and hopefully looking at around 1000 points.

I'm really looking forward to it. I LOVE Worms and Space Oddity was a major let down. This one seems like it'll more than make up for that game.

Earlier today I had 1500 wii points left to spend and I was like what the hell and bought the first Mario (I've waited awhile to get it because I'm not that good at it, but I am good at the later ones...whatever) So I was left with 1000 points, and I thought, "Jeff... I know Worms is coming soon, I only hope that it will not cost 1200 points. Cause then I am screwed!" But this is good news. I hope Worms outsells everything and brings on a revolution of awesomeness to wiiware!

I only have 1200 and wanted to get the Jet Rocket game... it's gonna be a pain to wait for the nest month encase anything cool comes out but im holding on to these points because Worms is worth it!

I loved Open Warfare 2 ds. Hopefully this'll have on-line mutli-player. I'd prob get the wiiware and the dsiware versions. Good news.

If it has online multiplayer then I'll get it day one

I'm a huge Worms fan so this is a definite buy--especially if it has online multiplayer. Hopefully it won't stray to far from the PS3 and 360 versions.

There is online and so far this looks better than Worms 2 Armageddon on the Xbox live and PSN service. Decided to put a link to the trailer encase no one has seen it.

I've never played a Worms game before, but I like the idea of the tank warfare strategy genre mixed with humor, so I'll get it if it's good.

i LOVE worms. from what i've heard, this is shaping up to be the definitive Worms game, too, so, it'll be day one for me. i'm excited.

Rex if this is your first worms it will be good no matter what. You can't loose when it comes to Worms honestly.

Thanks for posting the trailer. Worms should be an easy game to enjoy, and that trailer looks great. Shame the first (retail) release on Wii cut key features like online play, but the WiiWare release looks like it will be an absolute blast to play.

I am just mad that once it is released I will never get anything done, since Worms will be taking up all my free time.

No it wont be on steam later. Worms Reloaded will though. Which is a sort of expansion to Worms 2: Armageddon. Battle Island is different enough with the tactics option and creating your own weapon.

Anyone remember that Worms 3D game? I think that is when they lost me on the franchise. I was so excited for it, until I played it.
