When I was playing Super Mario Strikers Charged and I got to the finals with Petey Pirhana and I beat him by one goal (2 - 1) in that last seven seconds. I was so happy I jumped up and down cheering and calling Petey a 'loser, loser, double-loser'. I then hugged my Wii and accidentally shut it off. Good thing it auto-saved.

I'd have to say the most memorable part of Wii is that I met my current girlfriend because of it. I threw a party at my apartment when I got it, and a bunch of people came over, including a friend of a friend. We played tennis against eachother, and she whipped me. 6 months later she moved in, and I can kick her butt in any other game except Wii Tennis. And believe me, I try >.<

I love the Wii. Nintendo and a few 3rd-party publishers put out plenty of games for all types of gamers, and the Virtual Console is an absolutely brilliant concept that I'm glad has carried over to their handhelds.
Upon starting up Galaxy for the first time and noticing that there were six save slots. Me and my whole family were racing to see who could collect the stars the fastest. My bro actually beat me to 120(i had around 117), but then we discovered that you got to play as Luigi and collevct 121 MORE stars after that, haha, and I beat them on that part >:] I still don't think they've gotten all 242 to this day. Also, pretty much rinse and repeat with SMG2, only on a slighly smaller scale since tney are only 3 save slots =(

Getting the last unreserved copy of Brawl on release day. I didn't even have a Wii yet, but I knew I would be getting one soon. (It was supposed to be for Christmas, but that year was the year that they sold out minutes after a new shipment came in during the holiday season.) So I was in there, looking around, and there it was: I had been waiting for this game for longer than I could remember now. It was the reason I wanted a Wii, or pretty much the reason anyways. And there it was. The last one. I knew there was no way I was getting one anytime soon if I passed this up, so I bought it, along with the Premier Edition guide, and waited two more weeks....
Nintendo - Where even first person shooters ooze creativity.
Most of my greatest moments with the Wii are about multiplaying: playing (and beating!) New Super Mario Bros with the missus and dancing and having fun together to Just Dance, playing NBA Jam for hours with my cousin and of course Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles with my brother — who doesn't play anything but PES, so that means a lot to me!!
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...
-Finally getting a Wii after not being able to find one for 4-5 months -Getting a ton of the old games (especially SNES) I always wanted but never played -Playing Galaxy 1. Even though I think there's at least 1 or 2 better games this gen, no other game has been this fun this consistently. Not even Galaxy 2. -Getting Muramasa and LKS. Wonderful. -Playing an absurd amount of time on the sword mode in Wii Sports Resort and finally beating the champion in that mode. I still find it hilarious how difficult those games can get. -Getting the closest I've ever gotten to 100 percenting a Zelda game with TP (missed some poes though) -Little King's Story: Fighting King Jumbo Champloon. What a glorious fight. Even compared to the other bosses. -same with No More Heroes 1/2 but for at least 1/2 the bosses -Almost beating Ninja Gaiden NES. SOMEDAY -Fighting Robot Mecha Dedede in a golf game. AWESOME. -the Cutscene in Fragile after Crow gives up. Confirmed that the developers can read minds, lololol. -Getting Sonic 4 on the first day and actually fairly getting number 1 a couple of times on the leaderboards (thanks to hacking jerks, that's probably literally impossible now).
Thinking I had beaten Okami, only to discover I still had half the game left to play
Mario Kart online races, and flukes that allowed me to beat ppl with way higher rankings than me
Just Dance 2 with my hubby (and catching him playing it by himself later on)
Kirby's Epic Yarn... my first 100% complete on the Wii
The simple casual games (Wii Play, Wii Sports and Wii Fit Plus), which allowed me to play video games with my dad again (which we hadn't done since 1992).
