I'm surprised that no one's made a thread on this one already. I didn't wait for a "proper" review to buy it - I'd seen Sean Aaron's first looks and, I dunno, something about that guy just makes ya kinda trust him, no? Well, I'm glad I did, 'cause this game is pretty cool.
It's a unique, physics-based puzzler, and sports a very polished presentation, which is something I always appreciate. The sound effects are tight, and the controls are straight forward. The play gets progressively more challenging as you progress within and through each level, and so far seems fair and pretty manageable. I've not tried the 2-player mode yet, so no comments there.
There are some aspects of the game that made me laugh in that childish-humor kinda way, but hey, I dare you to listen to the tutor's sound effect and not think the same thing. Oh, and combine that with shaking the Wii-mote? And the phallus Fallos? The devs MUST have had a good laugh, too.
Yeah. I didn't get this yet, I have only 600 wii pts and was debating on getting LKS or chancing the sale ending and waiting a little longer. Till I have more money or my B-day. Guess My Gamestop doesn't know how long the sake goes on. Don't ask me why.
You bet, Sean. Every member's got a short list of other members whose posts carry a bit more weight, and you've been on mine since early on. Your posts, from lengthy discussions on legacy copyrights to the little quips with which you lock certain threads, demonstrate experience and sound judgement. All without coming across like a tool - bonus!
Back to Cubes though, tell me honest... am I crazy connecting those dots and having a completely immature laugh? Does no one else see it? Or am I just that depraved?
@Vedetta- I doubt it. I at least made a connection with moving the wiimote up and down to make those people, I think. Now that you mention it Falos? I'd say that was probably on purpose. What's called a fallos in the game?

I see it. But then again, I am also that depraved.
@Longtimegamer: According to the GameStop sales ad I got in an email, Little King's Story will be on sale until Thursday September 24th. I guess you only have a few days to make your decision. I hope that you will still be able to get it.
Back on to topic of Me, You and the Cubes, I have to say that this game really surprised me. I had no intention of buying this game until I started seeing more information about it here on Nintendo Life. It was Sean Aaron's impressions of this game that ultimately convinced me to download it and I am very glad that I did! This turned out to be an excellent game and is well worth the 1000 points! I really hope that other people will be willing to give this awesome game a chance. I would definitely recommend it!
In the Japanese version of the game they're called ninge (pronounced "neen-gay") so I'm not sure what this Fallos business is about. I must be terribly mature because I have no clue what kind of naughty innuendo is being bandied about here.
I'm curious to know how people get on with level 6. I've almost completed the 1st stage on a few occasions, but it's really really difficult without a lot of margin for error!
@Vendetta: aw shucks I'm just trying to do my "job" here!
Sure is long. Over 30 levels that last 5-10 minutes each with added replay value for each stage. The game is very polished and really impressive. Almost has an Art Style feel to it.
I have a vid on YT of the first stage (second vid didn't get uploaded the same day unfortunately; will get uploaded when I get a chance).
It's a nice game but I wish they gave you the option to use buttons rather than jerking and flinging. It gets tiresome really fast. But other than that, the game is fun.
Yeah, I can't attempt more than one stage at a time on level 6 -- too much pressure!
I love the way there's a box in the box for the stages that gets bigger depending on how many Ninge (what the people are called in Japan) you have left. Someday I might have all solid glowing blocks!
