Topic: X-Play Doesn't Like Skyward Sword.

I just watched X-Play's Best of 2011 videos... Sadly, Skyward Sword got little mention. They only showed up in Best Motion Control and Best Soundtrack. No Game of the Year. No Best Art Direction. No Best Story. No Innovative Gameplay. sigh

I think it's pointless to talk about X-Play anymore. Over the past few years they've shown how ridiculous and out of touch they are with the gaming commuinty as a whole in favor of trying to be "cool" and "edgy".

seems about right.

I'm pissed that SS didn't get nominated for best art or best music. that being said with the expection of maybe music or goth it didn't deserve to win any of those catagories.

But they gave it a 4 out of 5.

My first thought is: I don't care. What they think about the game really doesn't affect me.

Then, as I was reading the list, it hit me that Skyward Sword, really doesn't belong in most of those categories, anyway. I'm not surprised it didn't win. There were a lot of fantastic games out this year. Best art direction, it could perhaps have used a nomination for. Best story? No way. Best in a Zelda game, absolutely. Not story-of-the-year material.

My third thought, though, was, "I wonder if they actually PLAYED Skyward Sword..." I thought this the moment I saw it was nominated for best motion controls... BEHIND Dance Central 2 and Just Dance 3.

Get over it and play a real game like Skyrim

Of course they didn't, Skyward sword doesn't have blood, guns, HD graphics and there were practically no facial features

Nintendo fans are so pis*ed that they voted on their favorite game. Yeah, it's not because more X-play fans viewers actually like Skyward Sword! No sirree!

I like watching Morgan Webb, she is the only reason I watch X-Play.
