It does, if you dont read the rest of the post. I hate dual analog controls, and have a really underpowered laptop. Shooters for me are better with motion controls when done well. I have MP3 and Conduit to prove it.
Seriously...why do people say the conduit satified their needs? seriously....that game was broken.....the online is good but too much lag!! The single-player is ok-ish but Perfect dark and james bond had more depth than it.

Same here, though MP3 didn't have sufficient replay value for me to keep, so The Conduit does meet my FPS needs nicely at the moment. I do have Red Steel 2 on pre-order as well.
@Alex: No, it's the fact that you assume or suggest that CoD4 for Wii, will be broken down into "little fun sized pieces", and that you have already written off CoD4Wii. Is this presumption brought about by your love for the PS3 version?

@Machu: No, I'm with Alex on this too. I'm pretty sure we both love the Wii considering we're on this site. But I'm not blinded by my liking for the anything (save Pokemon), and I know where it's faults lie. This game will be worse than the other versions, unless you really, really, really can't stand DA. If the Wii can't handle NSWBWii's 4-player co-op online, what makes you think it will be able to replicate CoD4's experience?
I agree with Alex and BZ on the Wii version certainly being worse. That doesn't mean it will be bad though, does it? Just because the game will feature much worse graphics and probabaly altered single player game doesn't mean it won't still be fun. The online is also almost certain to be laggier and buggier than the PS3/360/P.C versions, but it still is likely to be the best online entry in the genre on the Wii.

I never suggested it would be able to replicate the standards of the original, I just think it's a bit short-sighted to suggest it's gonna be a travesty. No, it won't be AS good that's obvious, but it could still be a good game to those who prefer Wii. Hell, IR-pointing will make it alot more fun for starters, which was probably the clincher when they were deciding whether to port it. As long as they don't gimp it, I think it'll be great. But then, I'm not comparing it to the other versions. I play all my FPS's on PC, so anything on PS3/360 is a backwards step to me, depends upon your perspective I suppose.
I'm sorry if I made it seem like I thought it would be bad. It'll be a nice Wii game, probably the best FPS on Wii, however it will just fail in comparison to the other versions.

Why does anyone have to be a wii fanboy in order to not be called a fanboy of another system? If a person has a Wii and has not sold it, I think that's enough.
This matter is very simple: CoD4 was a PC game first and foremost. It was dumbed down for 360 and PS3. And because the Wii has more limited processing power, it will be dumbed down even further for Wii. Similarly, CoD3 was scaled back for PS2 and Xbox. That's just the reality of things.
It's perfectly understandable why someone with a PC or Mac, or at the very least a 360 or PS3, would consider CoD4Wii to be inferior and beyond fashionably late.

That'd do! Nah, AlexSays can do what he wants, that's why we all like him so much, but... I find it strange when I see him on this here Nintendo fan-site, mocking the fans. It's verging on fan-boy i tell ya. And why are you sticking up for him, think he'd do it for you, ha.
The moral of the story.... I don't compare Wii games to any others, there is no point unless you are looking for a platform war, which I can't be bothered with. I'm gonna play on my crappy dumb down copy of Tiger now. Cya.

@Machu: Not everything is dumbed down for Wii, like Tiger. However, it is fair to compare a multiplatform game to other platforms. Cause it's the same game. That's like saying you can't compare oranges from Stop and Shop to oranges from ShopRite.
@Machu: How's it hard to understand? If it's supposed to be the same thing, compare the 2. Don't put games on platforms where they won't excel. Why put Tiger Woods on PS3 when Wii benefits most? Why put Gears on Wii when it works best for the 360? Why put Call of Duty 4 on the Wii when it benefits most from the 360?
It's not hard to understand, the Wii version will be worse, and I don't want "dumbed down" games on the Wii. It's like I wouldn't want Galaxy on the 360 becaue then it would be dumbed down.
