I think they will. Not sure how much they make on each Wii sold, but 19.99 sounds about right. Gamecube went out at $99 I believe. Wii still sells ok so they might risk losing profit by lowering it too much. Your thoughts?
With the Wii U on the way I would say yes. Though I do remember Nintendo saying that they would still support the Wii, so maybe a price drop would not happen straight away, especially if Nintendo pulls out some great last minute games ( look at the normal DS in 2011, Kirby Mass Attack, Proffessor Layton, Pokemon Black and White and Fossil Fighters Champions).
It's hard to understand what system you are referring to in the title. I thought you meant a second 3DS price drop! (After further reading this echidna realized that you meant the Wii)
The Wii goes about £80-£120 now,so If they did drop it,they might drop it another £10-£20. But considering it's one of the best selling consoles of all time,I don't think Nintendo will drop the price that much/.

I'm not sure - they might try to pull a PS2 and position the Wii as a cheap, accessible entry-level console. On the other hand, they might feel that if they put the Wii at too cheap a price, it may direct some sales away from the Wii U.
It'll be interesting to see what happens.
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
