Topic: Will Mega Man VII ever see an Virtual Console release?

Hello there. As you might see, Mega Man VII is my very most wanted game to see an Virtual Console release. While I believe it's likely, I'm worry that we might not see it, due to the horrendous one-game week that did nothing to but hurt NOA and us. So, give out your opinion if we'll ever see Mega Man VII on the Virtual Console.

MegaMan sells. It'll get up there eventually.

I'm more surprised how long it's taken for MM4 to get up.

I would be fine if we never saw that game on the VC. Brentalfloss said it best with "3 was good, and 4 was pretty good, and 5 and 6 were okay, but 7 sucked big dinosaur balls!"

I think everyone would benefit more from Mega Man X at this point (okay, well, maybe after 4 is released).

Maybe after 6 comes out. Who knows when that will be, though.

I agree. I don't know what is taking Capcom so long to get the Megaman series going again. Its not like if they release Megaman 4 that it will get in the way of the sales for Megaman 9.

I want to download Megaman 4, 5, 6 and 7 as soon as they appear.

I have a feeling Mega Man 4 will show up soon. Its been a year now since MM9 and MM3 hit the Nintendo download. Also Capcom is supporting the VC pretty aggressively, so I think it will happen maybe early 2010.

Hopefully, MM4-7 (and X1-3) will all be released some day...

Hey, once Capcom release all of their Street Fighter games that they can on the Virtual Console (they're nearly there excluding arcade games), they'll have to start looking elsewhere in their back catalog.

Yeah, but I don't see why more people get Mega Man Anneversiary Colection. It has all 8 Mega Man games and the two arcade titles. And you could get it from Gamestop for around $20.

I traded the PS2 version in because it's awkward to play with that type of controller. NES style FTW!!!

@irken004 Yeah, I will agree that the controls are messed up, but it's better than paying 3500 points for the NES Mega Mans, 4300 including 7, I'd price the arcade titles about 800 each for 5900 points, and you can't get Mega Man 8 unless VC had the Sega Saturn, which would be about 1000 points for a total of 6900 points. Would you rather pay $69 just for good controls, or $20 for not as good controls? And it had the Navi mode and the interview with G4 and unlockable music and sketchbooks.

I already have Megaman 1-3 and 9 on the VC and Wiiware so far.

Yeah. We never got the collection over here. And there's no easy way to play American games.

I forgot Europe didn't get it. Oh, and I forgot 9, so it would be $79 for all the Mega Man games of VC and WW.

And thats not even including the DLC in Megaman 9.

@Bass_X0 Yeah, so, unless you're willing to have messed up controls and/or have to import it, you'll have to have a lot of money.

Well, for the approximated cost of $79 it's at that point definitely worth chipping your PS2. And then it's really easy...
