Honestly avoid Bomberman blast. Bomberman 93 (VC) is much fun, less expensive and the same amount of gamers (up to 5) to play together. BB feels very unpolished and incomplete.
@Dap: Actually I Thought Adventure Island:The beginning was a decent game. It's wierd to hear that some didn't like it. It's not a bad game. It looks nice. I also think it controlled fine, (from what remember) one of the few problems I had was in the skateboard bonus game. Sometimes I slowed down for hitting a the edge of something, when it looked like i should have cleared it. The other thing is in that bonus game to (but could just be me) That I didn't always seem to be able to always keep a topspeed while skateboarding.
This game in my opinion is definately one of the better wiiware games. I think you should get more opinions on it. I bought it and I don't regrete it and I liked the look (There was nothing wrong with the looks of it.) In thought the main game controled well. There were unlockables. Online scoreboards. You could upgrade. The only other grip that i had was that it appeared that only one person could register their name in the main game (unless it could be unlock ?
Avoid anything Strong Bad and any game from Bplus, they all suck. Out of the catalog I'd say there's a handful of games sort of worth buying but in all honesty, WiiWare is a laughable mess of puzzle games and half-arsed point and click adventure games.
Outside of a couple of platformers and maybe Bit Trip Beat there really isn't much worth getting. Stick with the VC if you want fun, challenge and value for money in the downloadable games.
First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.
Bomberman Blast has terrible online though to the point I personally find unplayable, its just too frustratingly broken, and if the whole point of it is to play online and the online is broken, that makes it a total waste, the VC versions are much better for single player and multi player between friends on the same console, the fact they don't have online isn't much of an issue considering how bad it works on blast.
Now what's wrong with Snowboard Riot? The BB control was tacked on, I agree, but it is a pretty good game if you play nunchuk-style. (Only four levels, but atleast it is online.)
Yeah avoid all 9of them , theres nothing really great at all and there really bad value for your money , i mean you can pick up brand new full disc games for not much more than the cost of a 1000 wii points (Opoona & Little King Storey @£8)

Family Table Tennis & Critter RoundUp. Both are stinkers for me
Hey, Critter Round Up is decent fun for a few-minutes of play every now and then. It's simple and you don't get caught up in a long game or story, and it's not even a puzzle game that makes you think much.
I'll say do not get Eduardo The Toaster, too much button mashing (fire fire fire fire fire fire fire).
DO try Target Toss Pro Bags, it's great & under-rated around here.
No one have mentioned My Aquarium It should definatly be on this list, got it gifted to me the other day Gave it myself when it was new, guess I had it comin sooner or later. A clear stinker.
