Topic: Wiiware to avoid

I have yet to get a wiiware game but will do soon. Can you tell me which games are best to avoid as i dont like wasting points.

IMO Bomberman Blast is best avoided, if you want a Bomberman game I suggest getting a VC version.

anything with "family" in the title is beat to avoid. The control scheme for "equilibrio" is fun for a few minutes but it has some of the worst graphics i've ever seen. Graphics don't have to be great for me to like a game, but in equilibrio they're so bad its distracting. Snowboard Riot is kind of fun to play with the balance board, but I've found it to be pretty buggy. My character is always getting stuck in walls and stuff and I have to restart it to get it working again.

Some of my favorites include Lost Winds, Lit, Bit Trip Beat, Art Style: Cubello, and Space Invaders Get Even.

Super Punchyourselfinthegroin. Heard that ones painfull. (X.X')

Gyrostarr. Repetitive, blurry graphics and extremely difficult to beat halfway through the game's levels and beyond. It features multiplayer but it makes it harder to collect energy needed to pass the level since you lose a lot whenever someone dies.

Sexy Poker (Why has no one else said this?)
Karate Phants: Gloves of Glory
Incoming!
Hockey All-Star Shootout
SPOGS Racing

Overturn ( kind of boring for me), Gyrostarr(looks halfway decent but ultimately sucks), Hot Rod Show (works fine but it gets boring fast )

Sexy Poker! Do not get it unless........well, just don't get it!

Honestly I would do some research on this site. Just read reviews and see what you would be interested in.

like everyone said, anything with the word "family" is crap, also you should avoid incoming!, pong toss. sexy poker, hockey all star shoot out, spogs racing and karate phants

I am surprised Reala said bomberman blast. I was going to get it until i heard about the new one arriving in 2010. I may also get worms, world of goo and bonsai barber. I know worms isn't out yet but what are the other two games like?

Niki Rock n Ball and Pirates: The Key of Dreams.

Niki is okay for a while but the difficulty ramps up tremendously at world 3. And Pirates: The Key of Dreams is ridiculously short for a 1000 point game, you can beat the game in an hour.

I'm waiting for the Castlevania game to come out on WiiWare before i make my first WiiWare purchase

Adventure Island: The Beginning

I was a fan of the original AI game on the NES, and I must say that this version just didn't live up to the classic game. It just felt really clunky, and overall, not a lot of fun.
